I wanted to purchase brand new bedroom furniture as well as mattress and split box spring could not afford to make this purchase so I went to Aaron's knowing I would pay more for it through Aaron's. I ordered furniture took a couple weeks which is not a problem when the furniture was first set up for delivery I was told it would be between 11 and 3 and it never showed up I called and they said I don't know you were set up between 3 and 7 and because I had to go out of town I could no longer stay for the delivery so I had to wait another week to receive my furniture when the furniture was finally set up for delivery the dresser was damaged they had to send it back and order me a new one it's sad and there's no room for over a week but they waited until it was time to deliver to look at it. So when they deliver the nightstands and the headboard and Mattress and split box spring the split box spring was also a problem one of the split box springs was for king size bed and I had a queen size bed should have told me they would return with the proper size piece posthaste. They did return they brought the box spring up set it up and left when I went up to look at it they were not a matching set one was gray one was blue the gray one the right one was taller or higher than the blue one. So the mattress laid on even when you put it on top of the box springs. Immediately called Aaron's they told me they would take care of the problem when they brought the other dresser back. When a dresser finally arrived they brought the dresser up to my bedroom put the mirror on it set it up and came down at me sign paperwork and we're prepared to leave want to ask them about the box spring they had no idea what I was talking about I called the store to store sales person told me that they were supposed to look at it and then bring back the right one obviously they were lying because the delivery guys know nothing about this. The little guys try to determine the right one they need to bring back I tell them that has to be the gray one that's what I was supposed to get, so they leave and I noticed a crack on the dresser drawer I made it to call the store and tell them they need to come back and take the dresser because it's damaged and I bring up the fact that these delivery guys knew nothing about the box spring and mattress told him I was not happy and somebody needs to come over here and correct the problem immediately. I never heard a thing from them all day finally I called him about 6:30 p.m. told them I wanted to return everything they offered to come pick it up the next day I told him I was paid up till the 30th of the month and I would keep it until the 30th of the month. He asks very professional with a consciousness with benefits. He try to meet customer expectations like go up and beyond duty with excellent customer service. He do not over charge us and he is very polite. But the rest of the staff at that store just have no respect to customers. Like acting in a unprofessional manner, over charges customers when their bill is late, provide hidden charges like over the phone they say one thing and when you come into the store its another price within that same week, they will lie to you, argue with you, and refuses to take your payment when you pay a partial payment. The bottom line why are they in business! Why is the law enforcement come after them and why they are not sued for harassment. Well customers like myself we need to make it happen! They need to go out of business because it's our money that keep them operated. And we are the one we should be respected. Also, they will call your home, work, and references up to four times a day. This to is considered harassment so call the nonemercency number in your area and then use it to take them to court for compensation. Harassment is a law! Sorry Aarons at the New Castle store and other stores your employees have to be in a good behavior and follow the law. Ā Ā Ā Read moreRented a refrigerator that developed a leak in the ice maker. They offered a loaner that I wouldn't be able to use for 24-48 hours. A month of trying to fix the issue without losing my food and they delivered a loaner I could use immediately. Problem was it was a defective fridge that would not cool below 54 degrees. After my food spoiled they said they would send out a replacement. Instead they sent a tech to check the settings. There is only 1 setting in the fridge, the temperature which was set at 38. I showed the tech the fridge setting and my thermometer showing the actual temp of 54 degrees. I was then told they didn't have refrigerators to keep giving me. I just wanted 1 that worked until mine was fixed. Luckily I kept my old fridge and was able to switch back to using it. I returned their malfunctioning loaner with still having 2 weeks paid rental.
