I called this store to ask if they buy MacBooks. The person I spoke with (the owner/manager) said he wasn’t at the store but that I could bring mine in and someone would take a look. I specifically asked for a ballpark estimate before making the trip, but he said they would need to see it first. When I arrived, the store was uncomfortably hot and had a very unwelcoming atmosphere it honestly felt like a jail. I handed my MacBook over, and the staff spent a lot of time taking photos just to send to the owner/manager (who, again, wasn’t even there). After all that, I was told they wouldn’t buy it. The MacBook was in excellent condition aside from a minor touchpad flicker, which I explained. The owner wrongly assumed it was a screen issue (it wasn’t) and refused. For a place that claims to buy old electronics, it’s disappointing that the evaluation process is basically looking at pictures instead of actually assessing the device. This place seems interested only in nearly brand-new items. If your device has even the smallest issue, they won’t bother whether they understand the problem or not. Don’t waste your time here.
