Save A Lot — Local services in Pennsville Township

Got to this store at 10:40 tonight. I don’t usually like to go places that close to closing but I only needed one thing & it was the only store open. The security guard locked the door as we were approaching the entrance, I thought he was only locking the exit side so kept walking towards the door but it didn’t open. We walked over to the window where another employee was standing by the registers & she mouthed “we’re closed” …. Another customer walked up to the door when we got back to the car & pointed to his watch when he noticed the door was locked. Very annoying & inconvenient. Closing over 20 mins early...

Torn about giving a bad review because the food is good and decently priced! You won't find everything you need here but you'll come close or find an alternative. However, I go into the store and no mask wearing rules are enforced even for employees! I saw a check out person wearing their mask so low I could see their upper lip over the top of their mask. I had a very poor experience with this store a few months ago. I was contacted by the district manager after reporting it to corporate. After saying he would send me a gift card in compensation for my negative experience, I am still waiting 3 months later. Not concerned about the gift card itself, just the fact that SOME of the workers in this store get away with being disrespectful to customers.
