Originally when we walked in we were seated very quick. however after being seated we were sat for about 15 mins with no water and nobody checking on us. just as we were about to leave a man (liam? if i remember correctly) offered us drinks so we decided to stick around. we waited a bit longer while we wait to order food. while reading the room it turns out our server had a huge table and separate checks which we know can take awhile. just as we’re noticing that we’re approached by Karen (not sure her actual position) but she was the star of the show. she apologized profusely about the wait, took accountability and honestly turned our whole experience around. she quickly took our orders and periodically checked in on us before and after our food arrived. which the food was absolutely amazing! i had the ponzu crunch with the garlic fries while my fiancée had the cubano with tallow fries, both just delicious! karen always made sure our drinks were full and even brought sauces for us to try as she learned we are just here for a visit with friends. as we finished up our meal Karen finds out (by sincerely chatting with us) that we were actually celebrating our engagement. she comped our entire meal as an engagement gift from the restaurant. over all the initial wait was worth our experience, not just for the incredible meal, but how honest and thoughtful Karen was during our time here. definitely give this place a shot if in the area, you won’t be disappointed! we will definitely be back when we visit our...

We thoroughly enjoyed our food. It was truly excellent, and our server was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience very pleasant. However, the experience leading up to our meal was disappointing and frustrating. When we arrived, the hostess told us the wait would be around 25 to 30 minutes, which we felt was reasonable. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting an hour and a half to be seated. Throughout that time, we were repeatedly told “just another 30 minutes,” which made it difficult to make an informed decision about whether to stay or leave. Each time we checked in, the hostess seemed dismissive and unapologetic, offering little explanation or reassurance. We completely understand that it was a busy Saturday night, and we’re happy to wait when the situation calls for it. But if we had been given a more accurate estimate from the start, we likely would have made other plans. It was also frustrating to watch several large parties walk in and be seated immediately after we had already been waiting over an hour. We even spoke with another couple in line who shared our frustration about how the wait was being handled. OMG!! This place is amazing!! If you are looking for a great place to hang and catch up with friends or even just to relax and be alone with a book or work this place should be your pick!

Everything about this place was excellent! The environment was welcoming, the customer service was phenomenal, and the food is delicious!! The garlic aioli should be bottled and sold!!

I love how they have partnered up with lots of local vendors. The manager and the owners made sure to come visit with us and basically gave us the run down of the future.

I can not wait to see what this place brings to the area! It's very kind friendly and great outdoor area.

The parking is your typical downtown parking, so I can see maybe on the weekends things might get a little tight, but it's definitely worth it.

Its right off Cervantes and close to the skate park and Bay Center!

I can not wait to come back and try some of their other items on the menu and show this place off to other friends!
