Panda Express — Restaurant in East Peoria

So I went in and ordered the firecracker shrimp, Kung pao chicken, with chow mien and a side of crab Rangoon, an egg roll and a drink. Came to $20 which I was like holy crap that's a lot for one person. But whatever,not the worst part of the experience. So I order and instead of giving me the perfectly adequate food that remained in their serving dishes, she insisted on waiting for their ONE COOK to make more of everything I just ordered! Whatever, I waited. Got my food after 15 minutes of standing there like a fool and left. I open it to eat it and they gave me almost NOTHING. a bunch of dry chow mien and a half a cup each of my two ENTREES. I couldn't even believe it. Like they charge 9:80 for the "plate" which is the two entrees and chow mien. But to only give me a half a cup? And made me wait for fresh food. For 15 min just to give me less than what was already in the serving dishes. And then the egg roll 🤮 first of all half of it was burnt. No lie. And the other half was just dry. Then I took a bite and it just didn't sit right in my stomach. I only took 2 bites, and ate half of the food. I felt fine, until I was craving my leftovers at midnight and again (pregnancy 🤭) when I took a bite of the egg roll, it made my stomach drop a little. I swallowed but that was my last bite of that. I woke up at 530 am and started throwing up the Chinese. Woke up at 830 again, then a few more times during the day. The rest of my family chose chic-filet and they're all fine and I've spent the day feeling like death on wheels. I will not be returning to that...

Believe it or not this was actually my first time going to Panda express! My son invited me so I went along! I don't typically have Chinese food so it was a new experience for me. The smell was a little bit strong when walking in I'm guessing it's kind of like a vinegar smell or maybe soy sauce or something. We ordered the original spicy chicken with fried rice, crab rangoon, and the new Apple egg rolls. Not going to lie the apple dessert was my favorite! I did enjoy the rice and the chicken together, it was actually quite tasty. I just tried not to focus on the smell. Not that it's a bad smell it's just a little strong for me that's all, I'm not used to it. The customer service was good, everyone was polite, and the restaurant was clean. I thought that the circle booth in the center of the restaurant was a nice touch. I didn't get a picture of it because there was a family sitting there, but that was a pretty cool feature. I like that they give fortune cookies it's always fun to read those. There is a possibility that I may be back, I just need to warm up to it that's all. Thank you for the hot and ready fresh food and the buy one get one...

So I planned on putting reciept on here literally just left here and have came to panda all my life only place I go for Chinese. I love it my husband tollerates it for me. And we just left there get the same we always get I get orange chicken bowl fried rice. He gets double orange plate friend rice. Couple months ago we went they gave him his plate and his side of double orange in a separate container which they have always don. Well past 2 times they haven't gave us our double chicken. First time thought it was just careless mistake. But no. They straight charged us for our 2x chicken twice now and it literally is the same amount as my single chicken there's no way around it both times we payed double chicken and got single chicken. Not even 1 1/2 . No just one serving. Was going to bring it back and demand my second orange but my husband is so over that place that he literally said I'm not dealing with them now or EVER again. All because we have payed twice now for double orange chicken on reciept and all and only get one serving. I could see if it happens once. But more than that just employees not paying attention or...
