Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in East Peoria

Ordinarily, I love chick-fil-a and am amazed at their efficiency. However, this girl must be new. I ordered curbside pickup and the girl brought my food to my car window soaking in someone else's spilled soda. Without explanation, hesitation, or apology she proceeded to shove the bag through my car window. I resisted the effort and pointed out the problem. She now explained - still attempting to push the bag into my car, 'oh, yeah. Another person's soda spilled." Now I could see the puddle of soda swishing inside the carrier. She didn't even have a napkin underneath the bag to prevent it from dripping into my car. I tried to remove the items from the bag and it broke. Unfortunately, she wasn't helping with the dilemma of managing this effort with my food hovering outside of my car window. So, I succumbed to the now broken and dripping bag and placed it onto my car seat. Then, without hesitation she handed me my dripping drink through the car window and as she scurried away offered the reassurance that my food will be fine since it's in cardboard. Never once did she consider that I didn't want sticky soda dripping all over the interior of my car (not to mention the outside of my car door). This location, in the afternoon/dinner time loves to bump mobile orders off before they are ready in order to make it look like they have low ticket times and are making orders quickly - which is far from the case. I was waiting in the parking lot for my mobile order for about 5 minutes, get an email that it’s ready and come in to find 3 other individuals waiting for a pickup and all of the employees just standing around talking. I patiently wait for 2-3 minutes by the pickup area and was NOT greeted. So I said excuse me do you have a pickup order ready for (order name) they said it’s not ready - then the 3 other individuals waiting for pickup told me I had actually cut them as they had not been helped yet. 2 of the other customers waiting for orders shared stories about our mobile order experience and share similar experiences when ordering at night - they say the food is ready and order is complete, when it’s not. If the food is NOT ready do not say it’s ready in the app. I got my food and they had given me extremely salty fries that were inedible unless I brushed the...

To be honest this place had well over 100 people (counting buses full of cheerleaders) in a 30 mins span and I still did not even wait 15 or 20 minutes for my food!! It was still there hot fresh and we dined in complete no mistakes as well as out of everyone I seen customer wise I seen no complaints from anyone no mad customers.. way to go you Chic FIL A. No including how amazing all of the staff was. The lady at those counter the lady I seem outside delivering food the gentleman walking around picking up. They had fast service, fast turn around , hot fresh food, friendly service. By far best chic FIL A I have even been to and I have traveled Over 7 states.. so 👍👍👍 .. we will be back!
