Torrid — Local services in Peoria

I've been a long-time shopper of Torrid, spending hundreds of dollars at a time, I will NO longer shop there again!! I went to Torrid the other day and was asked if I had a mask (the mask recommendation in AZ has been lifted for quite sometime), when I responded no, I was informed if I chose not to wear one I could still shop I just wouldn't be able to get any "services", to which I asked what services, and was told, help from an employee while shopping or the ability to use their fitting rooms. I said ok, then I'll take my business elsewhere. I will not be treated as a second class citizen because I won't wear a mask or take a non-fda approved gene therapy drug that no one knows the long term...

Always a great experience. Sometimes, the staff doesn't really acknowledge you, like other reviews have said. But when I do interact with the staff they are always friendly. Sometimes, I am not in the mood to interact, so I am fine with it. I LOVE that the dressing rooms have fans, and you can control the speed. This is a must in the summer and really all stores should have this feature in their dressing rooms. I love that when you get a dressing room then lay the clothes out for you and it is very inviting. Came to Lake Pleasant location on Wednesday 9/11 to find an outfit for my 78 yr old dad's bday. The girls here were so helpful (Lauren I think was her name but not sure). I was able to find jeans AND a bra in one single stop which has never happened to me lol. The girls working were very patient with me and opened a room up so I could try on a ton of clothes. Being able to leave getting jeans, bra, and a cute top all in one stop was so amazing! Thank you to the employees for your help and kindness. Truly the best clothes shopping expierience I've had in a long time and I really needed it more...
