Nice enough place I guess. The parking lot is a nightmare if there are more than a few cars there. It looks like it was decorated at the height of 2010, but, then again, most slot places usually do. They do not offer free snacks like most gaming places but they do have an actual menu with real food, however if you plan on ordering any make sure you brought or have access to enough cash to pay for it, as they only accept cash as payment for everything there. Their food is decent (at least from what I've tried) BUT it tends to learn a tad bit overpriced, to extremely overpriced. They run out of several things on their menu frequently and never seem to be able to provide a solid answer as to when they will be getting said food back again. Also, the bartender/game area attendant is the cook as well, and they don't keep their fryers or ovens or something running unless its peak meal time so if you order something make sure you have time to wait, especially if the worker is busy or occupied by a different issue or customer. They did not have bottled water while I was there, I do not recall them ever having anything but tap water. There are probably 6 or 7 machines, It does feel a little cramped in there because the machines are all along one wall facing the same direction, the only other place I have seen this particular design has been inside gas stations...
Read moreI went to VIP Lounge on Friday February 5. I was there from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. After playing the Vegas Classic game for a while, it went “cold” for 50 minutes. The machines run in cycles. I left 75 cents in the machine, so it would not reset. I went to the ATM and took money out. The chunky blonde woman with the glasses left her chair. By the time I got back to my machine, she had a rag in her hand and a surprised look on her face when she turned around. She had sanitized the machine and took the sign that I left. She had also cashed out the 75 cents and kept it. So the machine was now reset. No luck at all from then on for me. Ken Humphrey the owner knows from his camera footage what transpired. He would rather close rank than admit the mistake from the hostess. It cost me $265.00 that day.
I will just take my business elsewhere.
And I will be contacting the Illinois Gaming Board...
Read moreI work in this neighborhood. So today I ran in really quick on my lunch break. The place was empty. So I placed my order. They do not offer apple pay or even accept debit/credit cards. So I had to return to work to get my card and stop at an ATM just to pay. I get back just find out that they never even started cooking until I came back. Even though I explained I was on a short break to do this. I was charged $12.50 for two bites per strip. Trust me, my photo does the serving size justice. I ordered the tenders and was upcharged to make it a meal. Never got a drink either. Left with no time to enjoy what I have either. I left two stars because I was greeted upon entering and looks clean. Other than that I probably wouldn't recommend.. not for the food anyway. I can see why the place is empty. Could use some...
