I want to specifically call out Kenneth Spahr, "Ken", at what I believe was window #4, could've been #5.
During our interaction, he did not ask us what we needed help with, nor did he listen to a word we said. He didn't ask for any of the documents the nice lady on the phone told us we should bring. He was unfamiliar with some basic forms we told him we already filled out (his colleague was), and had to ask that colleague what to do several times. Clearly incompetent and didn't listen to his training.
We only wanted to check the status of a document we signed up for, but because he didnât listen, ask questions, or take any of our documents. He then proceeded to sign my husband up for the document a second time, likely messing up the whole process.
*Most shockingly, Ken told my LEGAL immigrant husband to his face that, in his opinion, my husband doesn't belong here and didnât immigrate properly. Excuse me? We have a lawyer with over 40 years of experience backing every step we take in the immigration process AND we are in close contact with USCIS (And if Ken bothered to look, we had the proving documents sitting in an envelope right in front of him). We do not need Ken (not a lawyer, not a border patrol agent, not an immigration officer) to judge my husband's immigration status or intentions, openly telling us that he's not welcome here- especially after paying THOUSANDS to make sure my husband did, in fact, immigrate legally. This was completely uncalled for, unnecessary, and DEEPLY offensive.
Shame on him.
If this office values dignity and professionalism, they would fire him. We took this incident directly to our lawyer, and found the whole experience disgusting.
On another note, the officer in the front lobby with the hockey cup- lovely man. He even went back to try to speak with Ken to remedy the situation for us and actually get us what we needed (to no avail because Ken wouldn't listen). Much appreciation to him for...

I was applying for my first time social security, 4 weeks later itâs still pending. I had to go to 3 different offices to ask whatâs wrong only for me to find out the application was never sent because the office decided not to send it. I called them theyâre telling me there is no application. I can never recommend this place even to my worst enemy.
