Rae's Shoes — Local services in Perham

I was pleasantly surprised by this shoe store. This part of the state is painfully lacking in some arenas of apparel shopping. One of those is definitely shoes. I struggle because of my need for shoes with a wide (very wide) toe box. The shoes I typically wear are not a brand you see in regular shoe stores. While this store did not carry those brands either, they did carry several brands with widths all the way up to 4E. Ultimately I ended up finding something that worked. This was awesome since I typically don't find shoes until I have been on the hunt for months.

The two ladies working there were great too. They were very attentive and asked alot of questions about your shoe/foot needs and what you were using them for. So they were definitely not some highschool kid schlepping Birkenstocks at Tradehome in the mall. These ladies were actually knowledgeable........fantastic.

They carried alot of less typical but higher quality brands. Definitely not the normal shoe store. So this was another plus. A great...

He referred me to another business down from him, I came in to buy shoe polish to darken them but instead of him letting me buy the polish and wasting my money he referred me to a shoe guy down the street.
