Lakes Cafe — Restaurant in Perham

i have been coming to lake’s as long as i can remember. this summer specifically i have developed a completely new appreciation for the environment. when you sit at the counter and observe, you can tell that this establishment is a well-oiled machine; managed well, & the owners must be hand picking only the brightest smiles, busiest bodies, and most beautiful personalities. my server this summer has been such a ray of sunshine, and this place deserves the best. come in with patience, grace, and low expectations (not that any of it is needed, i only suggest this so you can properly enjoy your experience & the atmosphere) the ladies get straight down to business, they are so efficient. i think only a local & frequent customer could genuinely feel this way about a cafe like this. 10/10. i bring my visitors here for breakfast or...

As previous reviewers have mentioned, this is a very friendly establishment with fast service and good food. It is a breakfast and lunch restaurant so don't plan for a tasty dinner here. The locals love the place and it was quite busy when my wife and I visited for lunch--despite the fact that the road in front.was under construction. I ordered the Bonfire Burger (because I enjoy spicy-hot foods) and (even though they used pickled jalapeños rather than fresh) it was somewhat spicy but the flavor of the well-grilled patty was excellent. This is a great establishment. The food was outstanding, and our server, Kim, was great. Very personable, friendly, and great with kids. Food came out quick and is reasonably priced. I would definitely eat her again. And with breakfast served all day, it appeals to most. Not one complaint from our table of 8.
