If you’re looking for sushi, or ramen locally, or if you’re visiting in town, this may be the place for you! I know they have other options, however the husband and I only tried their ramen and sushi and that is what I’ll be basing this review on.
To start off, we usually share an appetizer which for this visit was the mix tempura. It was really good and I have to say whatever tempura they use was perfect.
When it came down to order, the rolls we tried were Dancing Beach, Tempura California Roll, Sweet Heart Roll and the Lobster roll. Yes, it does sound like a lot. Yes we did finish them… we also went to the gym about 2 hours later. Anyways, no complaints in every single roll. They were exactly as I hoped they would taste, which was excellent, and had no complaints.
The last item we shared that had to go home with us was the Volcano Ramen. I’m a big fan of ramen and have visited places in San Diego county, LA county and Riverside county. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this review from me is specifically for the Volcano Ramen. Husband and I both enjoyed it, meat was tender and broth was very flavorful.
At the end, we enjoyed some green tea ice cream and called it a day.
Back to my statement that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if you are looking for a place like this to grab a bite, I’d recommend it. I would...
Read moreMy arrival time with my partner was around 7:20pm. We were seated immediately. 10 minutes passed before we were asked for beverages. After that, we waited 15 minutes for a server to take our order. Our order was a Philadelphia roll and an Eel Avocado Roll. We wanted to try out this new place, so we didn't order a lot. However, they took over 40 minutes to bring out our food. When it arrived, the quality was not worth the wait. The rice for the Eel Avocado Roll was lukewarm, and the size of the pieces were not worth the cost. The taste was decent, the quality was okay, but there are many areas for improvement. We noticed only one person making the sushi rolls, and they had five servers getting each other confused on each table's order. We noticed that the tables around us were getting tired of waiting similar to us, and to receive their checks. The food is a solid 3/5 stars, but the service is very subpar compared to what we expected. We would much rather go to an AYCE restaurant to wait for the food instead. The cost was $20 total. Based on the quality, we would only pay $13 maximum for this sushi. I would recommend if you do come here, be prepared to have patience and a...
Read moreVery good, food is amazing. Highly recommend trying the sushi there, the sashimi and nigiri is my absolute favorite with a side of miso, udon, or ramen. The eggs are amazing, so good with the ramen broth. So good that I usually just order them on the side to eat even if I have no dish for it simply good by itself, fish is cold, fresh, and large pieces are served, worth the price. Some of the combos offered, especially for lunch, helped me and my sister, when we ate out there, only pay about $50 despite ordering a multitude of dishes between each-other such as two plates of sushi, sashimi, miso soup, a side of egg, 2 different types of nigiri, etc. A beautiful restaurant and near my home we have mostly just fast food, and somewhat good places, but this place is spectacular. I would absolutely consider take my partner here for a date, and everything about this place especially the plating? Insane! Little pots and plants on the plates served, caviar on-top of the tuna nigiri, I mean just absolutely wonderful flavors, food options, service, etc. Even the mochi and desserts served are plated with intricacy and topped...
