The Perfect Pear — Restaurant in Perry

We ordered them through doordash for lunch, we had been wanting to try them for so long as weve heard great things. However we placed our order at 12 pm, then our dasher called us and placed the order on the phone with them(he was verifying our drinks) all was well. He got there and they said they had no more mac n cheese, which we ordered the grown up mac and cheese and I'm very picky and nothing else sounded like anything I would eat, at least on the doordash menu. I asked what the menu was there since doordash menu was limited, my dasher then had someone at the restaurant read the menu off, she read a few items to me and then did not ask me to hold or anything she stopped for just a moment and then told my dasher the kitchen was closed. By this time it was almost 1:40 I believe they closed at 1:30 however my order was placed at 12 and was supposed to be cooked and ready for pickup once the dasher arrived. So he told me she said the kitchen was closed, she never even mentioned the rest of the menu just stopped in her tracks and told him the kitchen was closed. So I was unable to order lunch because I spent $47 on two grown up mac n cheese and two sweet teas(doordash is higher). By the time I'm off the phone doordash refunded my order, I went without lunch for me and a co worker because I did not have the funds to order elsewhere because now I'm waiting 3-5 days for a refund. This completely ruined my thoughts of this restaurant. I was so excited to try and they just made a horrible impression. The lady was so rude by just stopping mid sentence and giving the phone back to the dasher saying the kitchen was closed. I wont be eating there. It's sad because I dont live far from there at all and have heard...

i am not a fan of pimento cheese but this homemade pimento cheese was really good! The whole wrap was good. It’s the mutha clucker wrap. Chicken tenders with candied jalapeños, pimento cheese and a dipping sauce of a ranch blended with other flavors. I could’ve gone without the dip it was good. I think there could have been more jalapeños tho. I LOVE how they toasted the exterior of the wrap, perfect texture. The cucumber dill salad was good too, a little too much sauce but good flavor. My mom ordered the chicken salad croissant and said it was really good too. She had the pasta salad as her side. It didn’t look like much of a pasta salad, looked like just noodles but whatever was on the noodles was really yum! The wrap was big and I was definitely full! Great southern restaurant. My husband and I had The Perfect Pear cater our wedding earlier this month and had the best experience. We had a tasting several months ago where everything was so delicious it was hard to choose the menu for the wedding. We really enjoyed talking with Megan--she is so patient, accommodating, fun, and professional. The food at the wedding received so many compliments and they did a great job decorating the food space based on the theme of the wedding. They arrived very early to begin cooking and cleaned the space when they were done. As the bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing. My younger autistic sister got turned around at the venue before the wedding and Megan walked her to the bridal suite. That meant the world to me. I highly recommend The Perfect Pear. They...
