Got a sack full of goodies Saturday (Aug.19) and discovered the best bakery items I've had in years. The pound cake tasted like my dear Mother's recipe. Good ol' plain folks serving up delicious sweets. Tam the traveling Sheltie says the lemon squares are terrific! We will be back.

My daughter and I stopped by this charming little shop today. We got key lime cakes, mini pecan pies, and buckeyes. So far, we've started eating the key lime and WOW! Rave reviews from EVERYONE. I imagine all their treats will be just as yummy. But that's not all that makes this shop a must visit!! The man who helped us with our goodies today was the NICEST and SWEETEST person. He had us laughing with stories about his mother and reminiscing about "getting into the kitchen". I can not wait to go back again next time we are...

Stopped in this bakery today and got the best caramel cake I’ve had in a long long time. I love old fashioned homemade cakes ans I was totally impressed with the taste and size of the cake. The cake and icing were not too sweet like a lot of caramel cakes usually are. I will definitely drive back there from Macon to buy more sweets.
