Me and my elderly mother went to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and we had purchased a Regular size popcorn. My mom had an accident and dropped the popcorn, so being an AMC stubs member I informed the employee at the concession stand of what happened and asked it to be refilled. Stubs members get free popcorn refills on Large size bags. Instead of just doing what I asked he had to lecture me on how he's only supposed to refill the Large bags NOT the Regular bags, which are SMALLER and obviously hold less popcorn not more. That is the dumbest policy I've ever heard of at any theater, ever, because you are receiving less than what was originally paid for not more. He did refill it but only because it was dropped, had it been eaten we would not have received the refill but we wouldn't have asked for one anyway in that case. AMC needs to relax their dumb policies. I was given a tiny cup once when I asked for ice water and when I asked if I could have a bigger cup they said no we aren't allowed to do that. I was baffled! The other irritating thing they won't allow is if you order a large popcorn and want to share but you want your own separate bag to eat out of they won't give you one. All I asked for was an empty bag and was told no. I said why? They said it's against policy. The amount of money spent on concessions should come with a little more flexibility and convenience for...
Read moreThey are over priced with everything. I know why, but seriously. You could go to the store and buy in bulk the prices they charge. It's been a while since I've been there, but as far as I can remember the only update they had made was putting in a new drink machine thing. Their chairs they had to update because they were at one time really bad. They seen really cheap still. The quality at one time was just terrible from the ceiling leaks to the smell from it. I think they did patch repairs for that. At one time the owner wanted to move out of the mall and have tax payers pay for it, when in honesty they really never took care of the current location they have been at. In their defense, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to things of that sort. It serves its purpose though to see movies, and to be honest, it is one of the main things left that keeps our mall open. It would be nice if they could update their expansion to make a better movie quality experience since half the store is all empty. But our mall has been known to be thieves to the businesses that move in, robbing them their profits. But I'm assuming that's a normal thing due to seeing a lot of stores building their own retail stores. Which in itself is a whole...
Read moreHorribly overpriced. Two adults, one teen, and two children seeing one regular movie, each with one drink, 2 popcorn to share for the group, cost just under $100. For this: You can at least serve yourself free refills for the beverages, popcorn is $5 for a refill. Theater is relatively clean considering its age, but small. The ceiling had an obviously older leak in movie viewing room towards the front of the room, bucket and sign placed for awhile. The screen had stains on it that we could see during the movie. Sound could use some updating/tuning. Staff of young employees was pleasant and smiling. Tried to sign up twice for thier frequent movie goers program advertised and still hasn't been done. First time, the person was still in training, or the equivalent of, and we ran out of time trying to enter/obtain information before I needed to leave. Tonight the girl was willing to do so, told me she would help me down at the "other end" and then was busy with customers and didn't get to me before my movie started. All things considered, you definitely don't get...
