Twice I've bought from here and twice I've had problems. So I bought a pretty large sectional from here in March of 23,only to have the delivery people so up on time which was nice but they started bringing in the wrong couch. Called up the store, found out the wrote the model number down wrong....when you are dropping $3k you'd think maybe not want to screw up a higher dollar order. Again we had already disposed of our other furniture and were without for another 2 weeks.
Fast forward to July 23 we decided to give them another chance went in to look for a kitchen table. The process of buying is easy sales people were super friendly,helpful,but not knowledgeable. We figure out what table we want and purchase, with us picking it up ourselves in Bloomington at the warehouse. Well that where the downhill slide starts. We show up next day to pick up our new expensive table, And get asked a very odd question by the very helpful warehouse people, question was did you only order a tabletop......let that sink in for a moment. Who in their right mind buys only the top to a table. If I was told the base was separate I would've understood more but it's the lack of knowledge. I was also informed by the warehouse workers that the Peru location has been constantly messing up orders. Maybe it's a management problem,maybe they all need corporate training. Maybe they should close the doors and relocate the employees to a better trained facility.
5 stars are for the fact how friendly and helpful the sales people were but again they do need more training. Due to multiple order mistake and mismanagement I reduced to 2 stars.
Update Went to get some warranty work done they went to the wrong address after we had already updated our new address. Now we get a message stating the item we sent out to be repaired doesn't match the ticket number hmm maybe this has something to do with them messing up the number to begin with and they still haven't corrected it....🤦
I guess they did some "digging" and found the new correct number🤣
Update #2 Jerry from Ashley reached out asking me to get a hold of him to "do what he can to make things right" now I assume his making things right will be a 10% off coupon or 50$ off something in store valid for only 30 days but that's just purely speculation. However I did reach out gave him my name and info along with best time to contact me. He replied that he would be calling me next day. Two days later still no call. We shall continue this saga...
Read moreTony was a great help in our search for a new mattress, we had just started our search today and Tony gave us all the information on products and brands and even got us to try the brand we were sure we didn’t want, only to find that it was more than likely the mattress we’ll end up buying after we check out a few more models on my list. I have a feeling we’ll be back for the Tempurpedic, but I have to be thorough! Tony also showed us the clearance room as we may need a replacement for an Ashley sectional piece before long, but there wasn’t the piece we needed in there unfortunately. After all that he measured all the coffee tables in the place to see if they had one that would work for us (48” lift top, super hard to find!), but they didn’t have one. Tony was a joy assisting us through the store, giving us all the info we needed without pressure or forcing us towards a certain product. Tony was the salesman who walked me through the store and was so very informative and helpful with the search to find a sectional that would fit my needs! It was refreshing working with someone who clearly loves his job and knows so much and cares a great deal about helping people! I haven’t made a final decision on what sectional I am going with yet, but I appreciate and respect the quality of the furniture and the integrity that is apparent in the employees, and will be returning!!
UPDATE: I went back to order the couch that best fit my living room and it was a pain free process. Tony walked me through everything so there’s literally no surprises. The whole experience start to finish was a positive and stress free one. I am so glad I went with Ashley’s furniture because I know they are operating with the customer and their satisfaction and peace of mind, in mind and that makes a huge difference!
