Yes the place is beautiful, but if you have children or are brown like we are don't go here. I went with my children after dinner to choose an ornament which is our tradition right away we were followed by a staff member she was nice and seem to just be following orders we went through the whole store and she just let us be. My daughter had chosen her ornament, but we went back down to look at everything again to make sure it was the right one. Then who I believe to be the owner started following me and my daughter I was sure to stay close to her so she would not break anything. The lady started making comments saying that she didn't want my daughter to break anything. I told her that I was watching her and that if she broke anything I would pay for it, my daughter was been careful I was not worried at all. The lady again said the same thing and I repeated that I was watching her and that if she broke anything I would be happy to pay for it, at this point I was irritated and told the lady that I had money to pay for it. She smirked and I told her unless you don't think I have any. She then said I just don't want her to hurt herself , I again said that's why I'm watching her closely. She turned around towards the register, I didn't want to buy anything here anymore I took my daughter's ornament and gave it to the lady and told her we were leaving as I didn't want to buy from her anymore. She said "yes that would be better". the way she looked at us was really demeaning we were customers, I didn't see her do that to anyone else in the store. I'm really disappointed as I prefer to buy from small businesses even though the prices are higher. She obviously didn't want our business. She should post a sign in the store saying no...

This beautiful all year round Christmas shop has all kinds of ornaments, snow globes, and any Christmas knick knack you can think of. I loved the charming toy train towards the back, the way that it goes around. There is a second floor with only a flight of stairs to go up. The lady working at the counter the day I came in was very nice.
To the beautiful community of Sonoma county and visitors abroad, I would recommend visiting this lovely store! It’s not only good to visit for the holidays, but it’s always a plus when you can support a...
Read moreDon’t take your kids to this store unless you want them crushed. Elf in a box is particularly scarring to little ones - the box is open with the elf inside. So kids see that you can buy an elf....doesn’t come from Santa. Our kids were in shock...”Mommy, you mean my elf isn’t real. You just buy the elf?”
After I told the workers there, they were pretty disinterested in doing anything- like actually moving the boxed elf to a place higher on the shelf or more out of sight or have the box closed so you can’t see the elf inside!!
Awful, and terribly upsetting...
