Overall a decent building. The views of the building are great, the amenities are nice, and the building is overall beautiful. It's next to an Aldi and right next to the Fairmount station, which is very convenient.
However, with that being said, there's more cons than pros. The building recently changed management, causing disorganization and information was provided to us incorrectly in 3 emails during the transition. I could not get the proper contact information for management easily, and the phone number provided by them was incorrect.
I do not use the communal washer and dryers, but there have been reports of mold. Management does not appear to be responsive to those concerns.
My bathroom ventilation fan does not work. That also increases the rate at which mold and bacteria grow in the bathroom (I believe that is a basic right amongst tenants). I raised this concern to management, but was informed that the fan does exist, it's just very quiet, which I do not believe (condensation is very strong after a shower and I genuinely see no movement under the vent).
Security does NOT exist, and didn't even before the management switch, despite being told that we would have security. In addition, the front desk is overworked with the amount of packages they receive and have to log in, and many people just walk past them. As a result, we have had random individuals and high schools loiter the lobby, smoke in the stairwell, and an incident in which there was an unsanctioned party that led to a fire on the 4th floor grass. There have been a bunch of break ins as well in the garage, and I have seen that the garage gate is broken quite often. HOWEVER, recent updates as of this week state that now they're implementing a new door and hiring a new security team, which is nice to hear!
The nice amenities are also restricted, as they are not 24-hour access (the gym closes by 8, and now extending it to 10PM), and the lounge is also restricted as well. As previous reviewers and residents have said, it has great facilities, but it's managed like a college dorm.
Definitely not worth it for the amount...
Read moreI had an incredibly poor experience as a former resident of Broadridge. I lived at Broadridge for one year and witnessed both the former management and the current management structures. I found both to be highly unprofessional and lacking in forward-thinking and initiative around solving resident issues.
For instance, as it pertains to the former management team, my car was broken into (two windows smashed and the steering wheel column was ripped out) requiring a costly fix that took over three weeks. Many other cars were experiencing the same issue with break-ins. I never received any messaging about increased security measures. The new management team shared that a secured parking garage gate would be installed in February 2024. I moved out in late April 2024 and the gate hadn't been installed. When residents are experiencing regular break ins, urgency is critical. In addition to the safety and security issues, the concierge service that was present when the previous management team was in place was unprofessional and inattentive.
With Greystar, the current management team, I dealt with many unanswered emails (ie: I reported a leak and never heard back from anyone about it. The pool of water from the leak was present for days in the bike room until I contacted the concierge). I also felt that the management transition lacked proper communication (ie: when the management transition happened, management didn't deposit our checks for two months, leaving us guessing as to when our money would leave our accounts). Finally, my security deposit from Broadridge was several weeks late and it took lots of poking and prodding to get Greystar to give me information on what was happening with my deposit.
I wouldn't recommend Broadridge to anyone who is looking for a professional, elevated living situation. I'm currently living in a new state with an apartment staff that is totally stellar and highly professional, further illuminating my poor experience...
Read moreWhere do I begin. When I first toured this location last spring I was in love. However I had just moved to Philly not to long ago and the leasing office was a dream. They believed in me and worked with me and got me in. Since I have moved in things haven’t been perfect. There have been ups and downs however I can happily say there have been more ups than downs.
For example front desk personally have been amazing towards me since day one. Durand the morning/afternoon desk man is a dream! This man puts so much effort and care into his work you can truly tell he loves his job and the people. He’s legit the reason I chose to resign!! The evening desk Trey/terry sorry if I got your name wrong is awesome! Dude is always smiling and ready to help. The maintenance team have been a dream. The ones that I have had come by for filter changes especially most recently was awesome he changed my filter and tried to address any other concerns I had. Even at a slight noise compliant he was concerned and wanted to help this is true amazing service.
The bad of course is the elevators. There was a period of time where only 2 were working and a lot of car break ins. However the security measures were taken and the elevators have been fixed.
With all that being said I enjoyed my 16 months of living here. I am breaking my lease early due to changes in life and even that has been a smooth process. Fees were transparent and yes while management have been hard to reach they do help when they respond.
Now there has been claims of fake reviews. I am a real resident here . I have made plenty of other reviews on file. This is just my own experience here at this location. I enjoyed it a lot but that’s solely based on the staff here! Lastly for management I can say the previous one was def more responsive and had better customer service however this management despite questionable changes, have shown great improvement in this buildings...
