I needed something stunning for a women’s event at my church. It was my first time investing in what I thought was top quality merchandise. I was first shown a piece that was of lower quality, which I already had at home (ordered online). I was then shown other pieces made of beautiful fabrics that took my breath away! I finally found one that spoke to my heart! It was a little too big in the hip area, I was told no need to worry, alterations are done on the spot, which I thought was great. One of ladies also made me a fabulous headpiece to top it all off! Due to my naivety, I felt taken advantage of. When I left, I knew I paid way too much $$!! Once I got home and inspected my purchase, that’s when I noticed majority of the rhinestones had fallen off, the outfit appeared to have been altered before and possibly worn. The seaming was crooked, uneven or unfinished. I’m not a seamstress, but I can tell shoddy work when I see it. I had to purchase rhinestones and fabric glue to painstakingly reapply over 100 back on. I also steamed it as precaution, as I had no time to get it dry cleaned. None of the items in the store were covered, no tags and just crammed on dress racks. I could not return it, as all sales are final. Not to mention, I had to get cash, because my card wasn’t chipped and I was told it couldn’t be swiped?!?! I’m sure these women had their own thoughts about me.........I just want to say do your homework before walking into these establishments (READ REVIEWS)! Someone else from my church purchased too, and she felt taken advantage of as well. Know what you want to spend, stand firm and don’t barter! It’s your money! Needless to say, I made it work and I looked stunning! But, in the future I will...

I called this establishment after driving to 2 others that said they were open at 10am and were both closed. Didn’t want to make the same mistake here. When I called I immediately received a text from the place saying to text them so I did. I asked via text were they open they responded 2 HOURS later “Yes”. I was then told I was texting a mobile number and not the business. I stated I received a text from that number when I called the business number from google online...I stated that the entire transaction was unorganized and unprofessional...I was told they were not unorganized and “busy” for a wedding and that she already “said sorry for the late response”. I politely told them they lost a valuable sale and to have a good day...What I didn’t mention is that I also had a huge party that wanted to purchase but clearly they can’t multi task and handle add’l customers so our business goes elsewhere. I would have given ZERO STARS if I could have! This establishment was beyond Unprofessional!!! Moral of the story, be respectful and professional with ALL customers as we determine...

This store is the best Africain clothing store I have ever came across. The owner is such a wonderful woman always smiling her laughter is contagious. So as the atmosphere.here employees are very humble and always asking to offer help. Rhonda curry how much were you paid to come up with such lies? Are you serious? When I was inside that store at 9:45am shopping for my sister weeding and the church service for tomorrow. Why lying? If you claim you went to 2 others before coming there! Sis you need to have your self check. It’s sad to see nonsense like this coming from your own kind trying to destroy you and your business. And you Miss billionaire Rachel Brown why you can’t tell here since the store is so racist and all the nonsense you said! Why can’t you tell how much you spend?
