Good Food, But Rigid and Frustrating Policies
The food at CHOPâs food court is good, but the service policies are unnecessarily rigidâespecially for a childrenâs hospital.
At 10:30 AM, we tried to buy breakfast, only to be told it was no longer available. When we pointed out pre-made breakfast items still on display, we were told we couldnât buy them because service was "closed until 11 AM" when lunch would start. My child even asked until what time they served breakfast, and the answer was "until 10:30"âright before refusing to sell it.

I am not a fan of a lot of pepper but I even tried the breakfast potatoes and I couldn't eat them ,all pepper. They have for a limited time roast beef sandwich that looks good but it's all pepper. There's a salad with balsamic vinegar and they put chicken in it that's good, in all fairness I have not tried everything I was there for 2 days with my son. My daughter has been inpatient since December and i have watched the prices increase and increase. Today I received the most pitiful amount of food considering what I'm paying for.
