My brother scheduled 3 appointments for one day because of how far we have to drove to get to the appointments. His first appointment was at 130pm. To speak to a surgeon. The surgeons assistant came into the room at 230. Then brought the surgeon at 255. His next appointment which was a cat scan was set up for 3pm. They said they would call down ant let them know that he was late because of them taking too long. We made it to the appointment at 310pm. It is now 445pm and he is in the waiting room yet to be scanned. They took him back at 330. I have seen people come in, register at the desk, go back, be scanned and leave since I have been sitting here. In the same waiting area. If you can help not coming here I would definitely advise it. Patience is a virtue but this is ridiculous. We still have another appointment to do within this same...

I enjoy all of the art displays in the building. Always interesting. I had skin cancer removed from my ear, involving the removal of the top of my ear, then reconstructive surgery to make the ear have a natural rounded look on top. Which is coming along well so far. I think it's interesting that sort of thing is covered by insurance, but other things that seem more important are not, like your hearing. Or your teeth. Or your eyesight. I do wear glasses, so having the top of my ear is important to me. But really, not covering hearing? Or Eyes? Come on. I AM GRATEFUL FOR MY AFFORDABLE CARE INSURANCE. Without it, I could never have had this surgery and over time would lose my entire ear, perhaps areas on the side of my face, who knows? Imagine if it was a more aggressive cancer? OMG DOWN WITH...

Perlmann has wonderful history with my family sadly we can and have been assigned to physician who is not that available. MY advice is if that happens to you change Dr's. We have and will when needed Parking is excellent and Dr's are easier to get appointments with than geisinger. Plus if you can drive in luzerne County philly is a breeze Perelman continues to undergo growing pains with frequent staff movements such as CRNP STAFF who float to doctors so if you don't get to see your doctor you see someone who has never seen you NOT GOOD FOR CONTINUITY OF CARE IN CANCER METASTASIS. Luckily MD Anderson and Sloan Kettering and UPMC are making their presence known...
