I witnessed a customer being very angry and frustrated today 04/12/24 because their order was incorrect. I heard the customer say that one of your employees, who claimed to be a Manager was very rude to them and hung up on them, the customer came back to the restaurant to get the items that was missing from their food. The Black Manager guy was laughing at the customer and their conversation was getting louder and louder. The Manager found so much humor and joy in the customers frustration. It was very disappointing to see him behave in the manner that he was finding joy with the customer disappointment. I'm actually surprised that he's a Manager. Once he gave the customer the rest of their missing items from a $14.00 salad. He slammed the cup on the counter while still laughing AT the customer and said he was hanging up the phone again. Our family has been here at Penn Medicine for a few days now and we've been getting breakfast and lunch from your restaurant but after today we will not support this business any more. Your Manager was totally non-caring about the customer and that they messed the order up and he just showed no compassion whatsoever for the customer. This is a place where I would NOT spend another dime at, the customer service from your Manager was horrible and embarrassing for the restaurant and those of us who were trying to have a peaceful lunch. He was mouthie towards the customer. The customer mentioned that they would contact customer service/corporate and the Manager laughed again and said that there was no contact information or person for them to report their experience to. The customer also stated to the Manager that they were sure that he would not have treated other customers the way he had...
Read moreThis is THE most disfunctional restaurant I have ever been to. The lack of signage forces everyone to wander about the establishment confused. The prices are high and the employees are (at best) indiffernet, verging on rude. It takes forever to pay for your meal, once you manage to find it and the registar (again because the lack of signage) because the lone cashier is also expected to be the "coffee barrista." The tables and chairs are left dirty after each last customer's visit, as everyone is expected to deposit their trash and recyclables in the same location that the incoming customers must visit to pick up their napkins and condiments. No one wipes down the tables after the customer leaves! The worst part of this is that it is located in a hospital. Other than employees of the facility, the customers are folks that are there for cancer diagnosis or treatment who are enduring enough pain and stress and probably have compromised immune systems due to the treatments they have just undergone to save their lives. Stay away...
Read moreI work in the complex in which Gia is on the first floor. I eat salads there for lunch every now and then, and while they're overpriced, they tend to be decent if I forget to pack a lunch. They are also very inconsistent. For example, today I requested an avocado on my salad, which ended up being so hard I couldn't cut it with the plastic knives that are available. Two things are wrong here: 1) the person making the salad put something that inedible on top of my salad as a chunk of avocado, since she too couldn't seem to cut it, and 2) the person I talked to at the front counter when I returned made me feel like it was somewhat unreasonable that I should want the cost of half an avocado refunded. The staff has gotten worse over the years I have worked here, and I urge you to think twice about paying as much as you will for the food that you get while spending time at the...
