Called Joseph's for a leaking faucet and water filter change. He told me someone would be out by the afternoon and a few house later Robert arrived at my home. Robert did an amazing job fixing our leaking bathtub facet, which was only producing hot water and replacing a whole house water filter. I called Joseph's after another company's two plumbing techs were not able to resolve either issue and told me I would need to replace my bathroom shower to stop the leak and that the filter could not be changed because the housing was miss-threaded by whoever replaced it previously. Feeling a little gun shy given my previous experience I was very relieved upon meeting Robert. You could just tell the way he approached the job and communicated that he knew what he was doing. I told him that the previous plumbers had replaced the cartridge, but it still leaks and I still only have scolding hot water coming out. He examined and evaluated the problem and immediately was able to get the hot and cold water running in the tub. He then told me that he felt certain that replacing the cartridge again, but with the manufacturer's part would resolve the leak. Upon comparing the part the other plumbers put in and the manufacturer's part you could see a difference. Needless to say it worked, hot and cold water and no leak. No need to replace shower system or cut a hole into my bedroom wall to do it. Next Robert tackled the whole house filter replacement. While the previous plumbing duo spend about 30 minutes pulling, banging and using PVC pipe to create a lever to loose the housing and then told me it could not be done. Robert clearly knew what he was doing and using simple leverage got the housing loose on the first try. Rest of the job was completed quickly and easily. Yesterday I had a nightmare of a plumbing issue and was referred to Joseph's affordable plumbing. When I called there was an immediate answer by a person, not an answering machine or call center which is a plus for me. I told the man who answered i think it was Joe my problem and he assured me he would have someone at my space the next morning between the house of 8am and 11am. I loved the fact that he quoted me a price for repairs during our call and it was a great rate. I know this because I had the same issue a few months back and was charged about $200.00 more than the quote I received.

At 9:14am the next morning I received a call from the plumbers letting me know they were 5 minutes away. The guys came right in and was professional and went straight to fix the problem. They completed the job in less than a half hour. Not only were they fast but they saw I was by myself and trying to clean up the water and sewage and the plumber went to his truck and got a wet vacuum and said he would help me. Mind you they did not have to help at all with the clean-up but did. They meant a lot to me.

They were very informative and told me what caused my problem, and I was even able to purchase the piece I needed from them on the spot to permanently fix the issue. I generally don't write reviews, but I will not gatekeep this great...

Joseph was recommended to me by a family friend that works regularly with contractors for their job. When I called Joseph about a leak in my new home, he was very responsive and consistently gave a fair assessment and good advice. For example, since I just moved into my new home, he recommended that I contact my realtor, home inspector, and previous home owner about the issue first. Joseph didn't have to do this since it would have extended the time to get responses from these people and actually fix the leak. I genuinely appreciate Joseph's honesty in how to go about addressing the leak before actually fixing it. When ready, Joseph fixed the leak and again every step of the way he offered solid advice on how to minimize the amount of work in fixing the issue as well as minimizing fixup after the leak would be fixed. This proved to be a HUGE money saver for me since the leak was really a small issue even though it appeared to be a big one at first glance. Since Jospeph fixed the leak, I've been waiting a couple weeks to see if the leak would return. Needless to say, the leak was fixed and I have not seen any sign of water damage since.
