Worst ever! I won’t take another family member here no matter what. I mean talk about inhumane, doctors giving you false information, promising things then saying I never said that. Ambulances dirty full of inspects flying everywhere with stains they call dye looks like blood on bed of ambulance. Didn’t even give me time to fully explain my story and how it happened and because of their bias and judgement my family is suffering a situation that has no sense. You take your kid her for an accident think twice. I understand there is a process but before you even think of going there and the mental load, it tolls on a a mother and their family how about byou ask them questions you actually listen to understand. The doctor I’m referring to was working in emergency last Wednesday night. Talk about an unprofessional, disgusting, liar human. He told me my kid just needed topical cream yet I was being forced to sleep In another hospital leaning my 3 year old home with us. Then he said the ambulance was covered and then said I never said it was. He said he had kids of his own i hope something like this happens to him and he wish he would have taken different course of action before doing what he did....
Read moreWe had such a positive experience at the St. Luke’s Warren ER. We arrived at 8pm on a weeknight, and were warmly greeted to begin the process. This was quickly followed by meeting with the triage nurse, who was also very kind and empathetic. We then proceeded to the waiting area, where we waited for an acceptable 90 minutes. The triage nurse updated us as to the status of an available room and apologized for the wait. Once we were brought back to the room, we met with the wonderful nurses. They were all so warm and put us at ease. The ER Doc was prepared and had a plan upon entering the room. He listened, asked questions and didn’t rush us. We were so impressed with his demeaner and expertise. We learned so much from him during our brief encounter. After everything checked out, they promptly discharged us. Bottom line…everyone we met that night clearly liked their jobs and genuinely cared for us. All in all, a fantastic experience for a...
Read moreAbsolutely appalling! My husband had to be taken to the ER at 12am. So that meant waking our 15month old up to bring with us. Over crowded with patients we were given the option of hallway bed or a psych room. While waiting for the doctor we couldn’t help but hear the staff gossip about a 21 year old that died , a baby dying of shaken baby syndrome, and watch staff place bets on a man laying in the hallway to walk so they could discharge him. After the man walked and was released. He stood in the street until police arrived. When police came into the ER a nurse said “tell him to take a Tylenol or more meth” . The doctor treating my husband sat in front of our room and ate his lunch. I have never seen a lack of compassion, care , and concern in a place you seek help. I understand being understaffed , tired , and annoyed with over used resources but this was new level of inhumane behavior. Don’t take the oath if you...
