If I could give ZERO stars, I would! I have NEVER experienced this before, and I've been getting pedicures since high school. The person working on me clipped off skin outside of my nail with the cuticle clippers, and I yelled, "OUCH!" It was loud enough for everyone in the salon to hear me. The person working next to me and the person working on my feet briefly looked up and then went right back to what they were doing. Neither of them apologized nor asked if I was ok. I initially thought I was ok for a few seconds, and then I told the nail technician I needed to stop and I would just wait for the person I was with to finish getting her pedicure. I kept having to tell them my toe was bleeding and still hurting. I repeatedly asked for a first aid kit, and one of the people up front told me, "Oh, it's not that bad," to which I responded I needed at least a bandaid because I don't want to get an infection. He digs around and finally finds one. I used my hand sanitizer to disinfect my toe and put the bandaid on, which was probably really old because the adhesive didn't even work that well. No one apologized, no one offered anything, and they acted like I shouldn't have been in pain. There's so many nerves in our feet, I would think most people would know the pain we experience in our feet hurts worse, plus our toes are highly susceptible to infection just from walking around either with sandals or barefoot at home. I don't understand how a nail salon does not have a first aid kit. Accidents happen. What's worse is that my pain was ignored, no one apologized, and my needs were invalidated. Furthermore, I did not see them disinfect the cuticle clippers or anything else that was used on me. I was hoping for cute feet this week. I'm just left with a wounded, hurting, and bandaged toe. It still hurts as I type this, and I sprayed it with bactine that has...

I am in Phoenix for work, and thought I'd get my nails done while I was here - just a basic pedicure/manicure. I chose this spot because of the amount of great reviews. I am very upset that I didn't get my money's worth, honestly. Firstly, the basic pedicure and manicure are much more expensive than what I'm used to paying in California, which is ok, but I expect a great job for the price point. I figured well, they probably give a great massage and pay attention to detail at least, but the tech I had didn't. I received the lightest, quickest massage of my life on both the pedi and mani, and the overall paint job is terrible - I could do (and usually do) a better job myself at home. She redid one of my big toenails FOUR TIMES because she was having a hard time making the paint even. FOUR TIMES. I have never in my life experienced this. And in the end, I still have paint residue outside of my toenails, and the nail beds on my hands are not even with the paint. I wanted a nice, relaxing experience for myself before working out here this weekend, and I did not get that at all. I usually tip very well, especially for a job well done, I really believe in paying folks what they're worth, but I couldn't bring myself to even tip 15% (I usually tip 18-20%). The next time I'm in Phoenix and want a pedicure/manicure experience, I'll go elsewhere.

*Update: They offered for me to come back and change the polish, which they did on my hands. Mariana is the tech who took over and took her time, and my nails look exactly how I expected. It doesn't take away from my original experience, but it does help that they offered to repaint my nails. My toenail paint is still not up to great standards, but I did not have time to ask them to redo them. Thanks, Mariana, for the attention to detail on repainting my fingernails, I do appreciate that....

I have to say my experience at this Nail Salon was very uncomfortable. The energy was very negative and the staff were very rude to me. They were following me around their shop, I assume in fear that I would try to leave without paying. For example, after one of the ladies was done with my nails I asked for Cuticle Oil. I like to put oil on my hands and then rinse my hands because it makes the oil sink into my skin. The sink is near a back door that was open, one of the ladies that works there literally blocked me off (in the direction of the door) to the point where it was hard for me to turn around to go back to the nail counter to grab my phone so that I could pay and go. After I grabbed my phone and started walking towards the counter to pay, another one of the ladies was walking directly besides me as if I was going to run off or something? Of course, this is because I was being stereotyped because I am an African American woman. Please note, I do not live in this area. I was actually looking for another nail salon in this area but I couldn't find it so I decided to go to this salon. I am a business owner with many assets and I also drive a newer BMW. I've been getting my nails done since I was 13 years old & I have NEVER not payed anyone for their time and services. I really didn't appreciate being treated in this manner and I will never return to this salon again. I'm sharing my experience so that others like me can go where we are treated well. All African Americans are not the same. All of us do not have the same background or grew up in the same ways. Please if you go to this salon, be prepared for your day...

Scammers! I regret not having patience and waiting for my regular nail tech to have an opening. I went in for gel X nails, who can only be done by one tech at this place. After me sitting in the salon for 25 minutes past my appointment, I requested short square French tip. She told me that we should do coffin nails instead (HER REQUEST) I agreed and went with it. She cut me multiple times with the Dremel And even causes the skin to break in one point. I still would’ve given this experience four stars if it wasn’t for when I went to pay and the total Hundred dollars!!! The lady who checked me out, had an attitude and claimed that coffin cost an extra eight dollars even though I didn’t request coffin. The tech wanted to do coffin, and that my nails are actually a medium length instead of short…. Which they clearly are not. I have had elaborate long nails from homebased gel techs, and have never paid this kind of money. This cost is unacceptable and they failed to be transparent from the start. UPDATE: since the owner seems to like reading comprehension. Let me clarify… There was no standard cuticle cut she Dremel my skin and caused me to bleed. That’s standard? Don’t think so. My other issue is also with the lack of pricing transparency, and the tech making my nails the way she wanted and then up charging me for services I did not request (SHAPE as I did not request coffin I said square and length). Once again, there are so many better places to get your nails done. I would not come here. Now down to 1 start for poor owner response :(
