Very, very bad place to be. They are not practicing social distancing. just because you put up the plastic to protect the employees the employees have on face masks and you put the little thingies on the floor about social distancing does not mean you're actually practicing it. and food city is notat least food City at Bethany home and 27th avenue is not practicing it whatsoever, I was in there last night and they had the lines to check out were running down the aisle they had a third of the registers open and I asked the lady to if they could open more because I was uncomfortable she's almost all the aisles are open . You have six lines and two of them are closed so a 3rd of them were closed and she refused to open more I just left my groceries and walked out of the store. I will tell you that I am very particular about where I go I documentI go with my Google locations different cities on notice if I catch this virus because I'm going to your store and you are not practicing what the federal and health and safety guidelines experts within this country and the world are saying you will get sued you're on notice is blatant last night blatant did you didn't care about your customers you might care about your employees cuz you got them in those little plastic things, You do not care about your customers at all because you never should have left that many people in that store with those few people on to check people out in those lines to check out going down the aisles of the store that was irresponsible negligent I gave remained healthy because I listen to the experts, these people are educated in infectious disease and epidemiology. I prefer to follow the guidelines and advise of these people as my senator, governor's , neighbors do not have the skill set to make any comments about this virus and...
Read moreToday I received terrible service from a cashier named Christina I will supply pictures below and the manager. Another coworker told me her name was Whitney. Iâm not sure if thatâs true or not but I will be visiting the store and confronting her soon. Today I came into food city to use the western union for I had an important medical procedure that I was already late to trying to retrieve this money my mother sent me for it. When asking Christina the cashier when the western union would be open she responded with I donât know. So as the manager was walking by I asked her and as I was asking her the question she was paying no attention to me continuing walking but replied with I donât know. I then proceed to ask for an estimated time for I was desperate to get this cash. She then replied I donât know a few hours. I then asked what a few hours meant and she said I donât know. Which I find strange that the manager of this establishment didnât know when the western union located in the store she was managing would be opening. Out of frustration I said this was ridiculous. The manager then responded âwell now it wonât be open at all for you.â Out of anger at this point I started trying to explain how she has terrible customer service she obviously sees Iâm upset and instead of helping me she discourages me even more. I donât know who trained you buy you should not be a manager. She then proceeded to tell me that their was a western union down the street and I didnât have to retrieve my money from that specific store. Which I was unaware. I will be coming back to this store in a few days to confront this manager for I feel I was treated with...
Read moreWorst customer service store in the valley, the employees think they own the store when management isn't around. I have had it, Food City's are in the worst parts of Phoenix. And this is the worst of them all. Oh well, I am dusting off my Fry's Card as I exit this store for the last time....good bye!!! Well, after 3 years of terrible customer service at this store, I have to guess the Store Manager has either terminated or transferred most of the Generation X and Millennial (Me) Employees, who think you should be honored to spend your hard earned dollars at their place of employment and like the service of a Mongrel Dog đ and say thank you. Well, my hat đ is off to you, Store Manager, on your recent hires of employees who first give respect, before expecting you to kiss the ground they walk on, or threatening your customers, who's patronage affords you a paycheck to enjoy the experience of your store. And most importantly, feel better about shopping with you when they walk out your door than when they walked in....cudos Capitan cudos. The atmosphere has maintained the greatly improved cashiers, clerks, customer service and...
