I cannot say enough good things about Sessily, she is truly a gem. From the moment I sat in her chair, I could feel how deeply she cares, not just about hair, but about people. I came in heartbroken after my hair had been severely damaged by a previous salon. I was embarrassed, emotional, and honestly on the verge of tears. And when the tears did come, Sessily didn’t make me feel ashamed or awkward, she met me with nothing but kindness, patience, and true understanding. That alone meant the world to me. She immediately created a plan to help nurse my hair back to health. Not only did she explain everything clearly, but she also sent me home with a reconstructing shampoo and conditioner and made sure I had all the information I needed to begin the healing process. You can tell this isn’t just a job to her, she GENUINELY wants to help people feel confident, cared for, and informed. What stood out the most is that she wasn’t focused on making a quick buck like I've seen before with the other salon. When she gently told me we couldn’t lighten my hair yet, I could see how much she truly cared, not just about my hair, but about me. She even reassured me (with a smile!) that I wasn’t stuck this way, and styled it so beautifully that I left her chair feeling uplifted and hopeful again. She went above and beyond, even making sure I was able to get the right products, because she knows how confusing hair care products can be. It’s rare to find someone who combines such professionalism with genuine compassion, but Sessily does exactly that. I’ll be returning in late October for the next step in my hair journey, and I already know I’m in the best hands. If you’re looking for someone who truly puts your hair’s health first and your heart and cares about you as a person, GO SEE SESSILY, She’s not just a talented stylist, she’s a genuinely good person.

Going to someone new impulsively can be such a roll of the dice, I’m glad I came to Monique. You can instantly tell she is knowledgeable in her craft. As I arrived early to spectate, and critic her work, I was pleased with what I found. I already had an excuse ready to leave if I wasn’t feeling her vibe. She was quick and thorough as she color corrected the client before me and left her hair glossy. I was impressed by her work but mainly I felt comfortable because of her personality. She is very warm and easy to talk to and knows how to engage with the entire room, while still maintaining an ora of professionalism. Her and her daughter make an amazing duo. Her decor was so cute & trendy, first thing you notice is her luxurious statement couch in the waiting area. I came in with purple hair, she stripped out all the purple in less than 10 minutes. We talked about my goals yet the options were many on what to do, I did not expect for all the purple to come out like that! I thought I was gonna have to dye it black. I’m pale so I really didn’t want to. I was able to go blonde. She did an ash undertone with some balayage highlights and a money piece. I arrived at 3:30 to be nosey, started hair at 4:30, got finished at 9pm. 4.5 hours is not bad at all, I have very long hair so I’m use to staying in salons all day, it comes with the territory. Her prices are very reasonable definitely worth it. Try her out, I’ll definitely be a returning client and I’ll send over some of my girls as well. I booked a consultation appointment about a month ago for 3/4 (today) at 2 PM. It was confirmed by Sesily the week of the appointment. I wasn't 100% sure what I needed to book for the treatments because I wanted a professionals opinion on what I needed done for what I was aiming for. I arrived half an hour prior to my appointment, no one was there, which is fine, it's by appointment only. I waited until 2, no one was still there. I thought to myself that's fine, she may be running late. I stood outside of the door for over an hour. I called 3 times, no pickup. Left a voicemail once. I also messaged on IG (since I followed them since last year to remember I wanted to get my hair done there), no response. I reached out letting them know I was waiting, wasn't sure if I should still wait and I hope she's ok. Nothing. I was literally ghosted.

I'm honestly saddened by it and it left me in a pretty bummed out mood the rest of the day because I was holding out for a long time to get my hair done by Hot Headz. I guess I'll find a new place because I can't grasp forgiving and giving another chance after being fully ghosted and giving the benefit of the doubt. I waited for nearly over 2 hours and there was no communication.
