Saguaro Brothers — Local services in Phoenix

I first heard of “Saguaro Brothers” from an advertisement on Sonoran Living, an ABC 15 program here in AZ. We had recently sustained some wind damage resulting in two of our ocotillo being uprooted. I called Saguaro brothers and spoke with Bret, a very charming and personable person and I explain to him what my needs were. He stated that he would be able to replant both out ocotillo. I asked him what if they fell down again? He assured me that they would come back and replant them. Since both my husband and I are now in our 60s, it was reassuring to know that we could count on someone to come back just in case we needed it. He charged $200 for both. Another recent wind storm knocked over one of the Ocotillo. After two phone calls. Two text messages, unanswered and two scheduled resolutions that were unfulfilled, extending into a two week period of time. I am sad to report that the reassurance backing up the quality of the Saguaro brother’s work has deeply diminished. Turns out Brett Hollenbeck, the owner, is also a realtor with “Bret Hollenbeck Real Estate Team”which would explain why he seemed more interested in wanting to know if I wanted to sell my home. I guess reliability is not quality of business he feels is important. Just be aware that he may promise you the moon. Don’t be surprise when he doesn’t deliver! I hate when...

I don't enjoy doing negative reviews, but the Saguaro Brothers have now ghosted me regarding a palm tree they planted at my home in May. It is now very dead and they are not standing behind the promised one-year warranty. Originally he said he'd send out an arborist to see if it was my fault (that didn't happen.... nor did he provide me with a certificate of health from said arborist prior to installation). Now he won't respond to any calls, emails, messages or texts. Next step is small claims court. Please be very cautious when deciding to use Saguaro Brothers. He comes off as a super nice young businessman, but has failed massively in...

Bret and Ben were a great pair who showed up excited to get the job done. He was enthusiastic and helpful, but could be slightly more forthcoming with plants, plant options and prices. Although, I was a different type of job than most (small front yard area) and didn’t see the plants before hand, it turned out great for my budget!
