I have been going to Space Massage studio for 3 years now, starting at the original location in Arcadia with John (massage therapist/owner). I was thrilled to hear when he opened up his newest location in Midtown, and I had to check it out ASAP. I have been to many different places in town for massages over the years (e.g. Inspire Day Spa, Massage Envy, Authentic Thai Massage, JW Resort and Spa) and they were all good in their own way, however Space Massage is the one place I keep going back to, and here's why: 1. The ambience is unbeatable! Here's me, running late to my appointment as usual (sorry John), stressed and high-strung, but as I approach the building, I hear the soothing, bubbling sounds of a hidden water fountain. I walk over the bridge, under the happy, yellow-colored shade covers that instantly lifts my mood, and then enter the quiet, clean building, with a helpful sign that points the way to the suite. That's just the entrance! Inside the studio, is a tranquil, calming, and magical place, and that's all I'll say about that. 2. The service is wonderful. From the phone calls, to the front desk, to massage therapist- each interaction with any staff feels focused, un-rushed, and really personalized. 3. They really invest in high quality equipment, linens, etc here, which adds a nice touch to a massage. 4. Skilled LMTs only! I have not had a poor experience with any of the therapists here. I usually go every 2 months or so. Going to Space Massage is basically like getting an amazing massage at a resort spa, just without the pool or sauna, and especially without the exorbitant price tag. Actually, I think John was previously a manager at one of the resorts in Scottsdale, before he went and built this amazing studio(s). 10/10 recommend.

Great experience. Booking was easy and the location is convenient (10 min bike ride from downtown). No bike racks but found a spot to lock-up. The building is tucked away in a wonderful quiet setting with lots of mature vegetation. The studio suite was easy to find and there are nice bathrooms directly outside the suite. The suite itself is very warm and inviting and the receptionist was friendly. Check-in is just a one-page form, which I appreciated. My therapist, Paige, was easy going and professional. I did a 90 deep tissue session and Paige gave a wonderful massage. She even offered me a quick complimentary hot rock treatment since it was my birthday. Score for me! I definitely recommend Space Studio Midtown and will...

I've been going to the original Space Massage location in Arcadia for several years and had my first visit to the Midtown location last week - the owners have maintained the consistently clean, friendly, and relaxing atmosphere they're known for with a fantastic massage. My massage therapist was Megan and she was wonderful. I got a little lost and had to call to figure out where I was going. They were super friendly and kind about it, even though it made me about 7 minutes late. Look for the yellow sail!...
