Made reservations for a friends birthday dinner & we were all so very excited! Arrived & were seated promptly. Nothing grand as far as the decor & lay out was mid. I also agree w a previous review, music is waaaay too loud! Not quite sure if were going for club or fine dinning vibes. Our waiter (all male staff btw) was not knowledgable at all, no personality,no help at all. Just blah...set the mood right away. I ordered a mahi plate. Mahi was well cooked, rice n beans were not good. Dry, flavorless...sad. guacamole was also dissapointing it had that old avocado after taste n again, bland & no flavor. Overall 2 stars but non of us 4 will be coming back....oh n you'd think that with that ALL MALE staff the ladies bathroom stahls lock would be working properly. I saw the effort w certain touches n decor but I felt I was in a "nicer" part of Maryvale🙃🦐 (if there was such a thing)

Always been a fan of the Az Taco boys so when I found out they opened up a SeaFood place I had to check it out ! I love the open layout very nice lighting and leaving the blinds open was a nice touch. The music was annoying but I can see the vibe they are going for… I love the beer selection and the beer on draft was nice and cold. They did not offer chips and salsa. Water cup was always full and staff boys were always attentive. We ordered the Callos Preparados and 1 shrimp taco. The food came out pretty fast, the shrimp taco was very delightful and perfectly fried. The Callos preparados were very fresh and they came with a black sauce with Chiltepin which was the perfect spiciness for me but felt like the price for portion was a bit off. Overall I would be going back to try more menu items but hope the music choice is better lol but that’s just me.

Wow...get your tastebuds ready for this one. Amazing tostadas and devices. The flavors were bright and fresh, and the salsa Negra was addictive as I poured it on everything else I ordered. For drinks, you need to get the Mexican Sake....yes Nami sake from Sinaloa 🇲🇽🍶. It paired perfectly with the fresh fish and chili flavors. The Mexican wine from Valle de Guadalupe was another gem to match the food. I tried the Monte Xanic Chenin Blanc, and it was balanced with citrus, mineralty, and great acid to help cut through the grilled shrimp. The space is beautiful with a large lit up quartz bar top. Plus, a private dining room in the back with a huge TV for events. Mariscos boys is one of those restaurants you keep going back to and trying something different and finding a new favorite because every dish has a story to tell.

Sashimi was outstanding - quality of materials excellent and presentation and flavoring was inspired. Highly recommended. The Mojarra is done very creatively and changes a down home, but rather messy, treat into a perfectly plated option for more formal dining, perfect for a lot of folks these days, with an excellent delicately seasoned ‘batter’ that’s surprisingly good. Also highly recommend. Outstanding bar with perfect tequila options and a very competent bar staff capable of handling requests off menu excellently. Staff is attentive and highly focused on customer satisfaction. Note - this isn’t a ‘typical’ Mariscos place, it’s an effort at more upscale Mexican cuisine somewhat evocative of a more upscale restaurant in Durango or somewhere in the Federal District. The menu is appropriate to the more upscale effort and the quality of the offerings do not disappoint. By the way, the bar offers some premium choices along with standards and a few appropriately selected local offerings. But this place is a 2fer, not the increasingly typical 3fer so common to upscale restaurants in large urban areas these days, so beverages are economically priced, while providing premium offerings at reasonable prices for such. It’s a welcome nod to honest custom...
