Desert Ridge Target - on my *&^% list. Went in for shampoo/conditioner. Knew it was $6.49/bottle. Signs were up saying buy 3 (of this size) and get a $10 gift card. So, I bought 3 (they didn't have the specific type I wanted, so I was experimenting). Got up to the register and it didn't ring up. They brought me over to customer service where a rather grouchy lady didn't believe me OR the sales associate I showed the signs to. Made him go get one. Tried to give me $5 in cash to walk away. She said it couldn't possibly be $10. Guy comes back with sign, she gives me $10 in cash. Deciding this deal is going to disappear, I go back for more. Grab three more shampoo/conditioner and notice hair styling gel is $3.49/ea, and again buy 3 get a $10 gift card. Really? Tossed three of those in the cart too. Brought the sign with me this time. Manager meets me at the register and tells me that he wants to go look at the aisle, because it must be the wrong item/sku number. It's not. EVERY PANTENE item was marked this way, aside from the ones on the bottom shelf marked clearance. He comes back and says that they have printed the wrong signs, it's supposed to be buy 5, get a $10 gift card. He insists they can only offer the deal on one more set of three, but I can mix and match. Really? No. The signs were there, this is clearly false advertising. If I hadn't had a toddler in a melt down with me, I would have stayed and fought for the other set of three. Jerks. ...
Read moreI was there with my brother this evening and had planned to buy a Bose portable bluetooth speaker, and two kids were there prior to us. They were being discreet by whispering to one another and left shortly after our arrival. A few moments went by and a bluetooth speaker behind us started playing loud music, which kept me from demoing the speaker i intended to purchase. Luckily, a representative came and turned off the obnoxious speaker and even asked us if we needed help. We kindly denied, yet grew the suspicion she was indirectly accusing us of the loud music. Whatever. Then, the music behind us continued after she left so we browsed the gaming systems to avoid further accusations. I get that we were still within bluetooth range, but the range on those could’ve been easily accessible outside. Not to the mention the sound would cut in and out as if the connection was poor. And then, a hot head security guard approaches us and demanded to know if we were using the Bluetooth speakers, which we were but not the one in question. Talk about an invasion of our comfort zone, he was nearly in our face. I advised him to check the security cameras; I mean, that is his job. Needless to say, I left without purchasing the speaker we intended to purchase, wasted my time, and was embarrassed along the process....
Read moreI bought 4 boxes of health bar. I went to check out and was trying to pay with an old $100 bill. This older gentleman was rude. He told me that my $100 is no good and he wouldn’t take it. I told him that it’s real because I just got it from my bank. He insisted that it’s not real and kept telling me a straight No. He didn’t want to take it and asked me for another payment method. So I had to use my last $20. I decided to go over to the customer service and asked them why their cashier won’t take my $100 bill. Dominique at the customer service was AMAZING . She was really Patience with me . She called her supervisor to verify my bill. Dominique spent literally 15 minutes of her time to help me to the issue. I always have a good experience shopping at this Target. Although it was frustrating with the older gentleman at the cash register. However, Dominique went out of her way to help me. I wish we have more people like Dominique at Targets or any store . She deserves a 5 stars rating from me. Thank...
