I had great case manager very helpful during my temporary stay at US Vets, there are staff who will help you as long as you help yourself, and there's are current staff members who treat veterans like they are beneath their feet. Example I lost my youngest brother in April 4th of this year and I needed to go back to my hometown to be with my family, my case manager was the only one who helped me during that but supervisor wasn't so nice about it, I did ask the head people in charge of what to do they gave me the support I needed. To case manager thanks for your help and support. About my former case managers supervisor if the roles were reversed and she needed to be with her family because she lost a brother, sister, mother or any close family members and I treated her the way she treated me I would be fired on the spot!! Any professional non profit organization who stands up for discrimination towards people and veterans should not be in the workplace and it's a shame that this organization support discrimination in the manner of the supervisor of my former...
Read moreU.S. Vets is awesome! The purpose for my visit was to find out if they provided move-in assistance. Secondly, as I proceeded thru the steps U.S. Vets had outlined for me, they were eager to answer any & all questions I came across, and then some! After all was said and done (or so I thought) - e.g. the application made, the deposits given, the first month's rent paid, the pre-move-in inspection performed - they still wanted to talk more! Why? Another surprise! U.S. Vets even went the extra mile and completely furnished my new apartment - bed, table & chairs, dishes, microwave, and even an old television w/ rabbit ears (it works great!). ...
