My goodness!! I am at a loss for words... All this at a WALGREENS and by a manager nonetheless.. smh Tell me, what has happened to the decades and decades of great Walgreens reliability that was represented and built by our yesteryear titans of customer service? I'm speaking of the forgotten morals our country was forged upon. Representation held proudly by yours, and yes, my very own grandparents.
As I stated before I am at a loss for words, and quite frankly out of breath I might add, after being .. dare I say.. HARRASSED by the very same Walgreens manager that took an oath to uphold professionalism at all times when wearing that Walgreens uniform on scheduled time. Bow your head in shame but open your ears for a moment as I share with you my latest visit to the once proud Walgreens. Phoenix Arizona, although known for its harsh summers still cannot be blamed for this unothroadox behavior. One might even see this wannabe manager of 710 E Camelback Rd highly lacking in class. I arrived to Walgreens about 14:01 one afternoon in a bit of a rush. I was placed in charge of making the goody bags for my husband's retirement kickback being held that very weekend. I needed adult male swag and hygiene for about seven guest expected to be in attendance. Old spice, I thought has come a long way with their new scents, I grabbed about 5-6 cans I saw displayed on shelf with a candy apple red finish. Up walks the manager, seemingly caught up in her own world. I payed her no mind as she grunted out a "Hi" in my direction. I responded with a hello and continued my shopping. Shortly afterwards in the next aisle, I felt a boorish stare calling to my attention as I tried to hurry with my shopping. I turned back to yet again see the manager preparing to take a photo of the shelf she was pretending to organize. I gave her a little smile and purposely walked 3-4 aisles over in an attempt to lose my unwanted afternoon stalker. This was to no prevail as she began walking a small circle around every aisle I went to. I figured, maybe place old spice sprays back on shelf to get her to buzz off. Nope. She continued showing up everywhere I went. Only for a moment I thought maybe I'm being to hard on the poorly dressed manager. She thought she was doing a good job that afternoon by closely and annoyingly following a customer with a empty shopping kart. When abruptly over the intercom I hear a shout out to Phoenix police department. As if I were some criminal. Screw this, I told myself and left the store after our purchasing two Gatorades to help with that afternoons heat. Water under the bridge i thought as I grabbed my bike and headed home. How foolish I must've looked to really believe the harassment was over. I kid you not, this manager followed me in her grey Chevy car probably financed and still making payments through the local infamous cactus jack car lot. "You better not ever return to my store or else." She belted out at me from her rolled down driver side window as she passed me by the first time. She circled me block after block following me all the way home while continuing to shout out a threat my direction. I contacted Phoenix police myself once I made it home at 15:29 in hopes that the cops would scare her off at least.
Please do something about said manager. 710 E Camelback Phoenix, AZ

UPDATE: After asking many questions and getting on the phone with a more agreeable tech we were able to learn that these repeated issues have likely been caused by the person writing the prescription incorrectly.
Worst customer service I’ve encountered with a Pharmacy. The pharmacy tech who answered our call would not only NOT own up to any possibility of an issue on their end (even though the woman at the drive thru admitted to a miscount on what they fulfilled for the prescription vs. what was actually prescribed) but he then continued bringing up reasons for a cost on the prescription even though I’d never brought up price once in our conversation. The second we asked one question he got defensive and tried to make up excuses. Definite sign that they don’t even trust their own work. Not to mention he was most definitely not poised for a role in customer service with the attitude he brought every time we asked a question calmly.
They’re responsible for fulfilling our prescriptions correctly. The fact that we have to spend our time reminding them to do their jobs correctly makes no sense. This isn’t the first time they tried giving us an incorrect count on our prescription. Luckily last time, we were smart enough to check before driving off because the tech stated he would have been unable to correct it if we’d driven off. This time we knew to ask for the correct count before they gave anything to us. Unfortunately, this has resulted in them not having it ready in time for us.
Fun thought: take a couple of seconds longer for each prescription to check yourself and make sure it’s done right the first time. Now my wife has to wait who knows how long for her prescription to be properly fulfilled because the pharmacy accidentally sent in multiple requests...
Read moreI was in the pharmacy yesterday evening ~8:45pm. I've tried to use a goodrx coupon in the past and was told their store policy is that if you have insurance, they won't allow you to use a goodrx coupon on my type of meds. Okay, fine. My insurance terminated effective 7/20/23 and I currently have no insurance and last night, they still refused to use a goodrx coupon. They stated it is the pharmacy manager's discretion and they were not going to be back until Monday. Okay? They should have a backup to make these decisions then. The pharmacy employee told me they make these things clear in the beginning when we start filling rx's so we can go elsewhere if we choose to. That may make sense if they had not been inconsistent in communicating the policy. Perhaps put it in WRITING so it is clear in order to minimize issues like this, since employees obviously have different ideas about what the policy is. As it stands, it is verbally communicated and not all of the Walgreens employees are on the same page. I had to pay full price with no goodrx discount in order to get my meds and that isn't right based on what I've been told in the past. Bottom line, get it together, put your policy in writing and get some employees who know how to do the...
