Daredevil Falls — Local services in Pigeon Forge

My Son and his family and my Daughter, rode the Dare Devil Falls on June11,2024. I’m a 60 year old Woman that has Neurological Problems with my legs. And I have heart issues which I am on blood thinner. . I had NO idea this ride had a 60 miles an hour drop and then when it comes to drop you off it does NOT slow down where you can get off nor does the employees thee help you or stop the ride or hold the ride so you can get off! Instead they SCREAM at you when your left leg gets caught underneath the seat as you are tying to get off because you slip as the cart keeps moving so fat and knocks you down and you start falling face first and my leg kept twisting like a pretzel. I was screaming, my Daughter was screaming. Telling them to STOP! That I was going to die! My Son, came behind me and picked me straight up out of the boat and saved my life! He’s the ONLY one that helped me! At this time my left foot was swollen! I had bruises appearing all up and down my left leg! We asked the employee where I could go to get checked out. His response was… There is no whee is this park that you can go. It’s only for Dollywood employees. I had to walk out of that park with a hurt swollen foot!!! When I got home I went straight to the Hospital. My leg and foot both had torn tissue and my foot was broken! Was sent straight to the Orthopedic Surgeon! I am in talks with the Dollywood Claims Department where they are investigating it !! I will Never go back to Dollywood ever again! Dolly, I love you, but you really need too to work on the rides and the employees better than what it is! I wished this would let me post my pictures of my leg! But I don’t see a place that it will allow me to do so! I censure send of anyone would like to see!! STAY OFF...

This ride is awesome. Be prepared that you have to carry whatever belongings you have on the right with you. The workers at this ride have always been nice. It's easy to get on and off this ride. The theming is great. Sometimes you get soaked and sometimes you don't. The log weaves through a natural setting before riding up and plumetting. The drop is exciting, and of course, that is where the ride picture is. We always get good ride pictures from this ride. We love this ride best when there is hardly any wait because you can get on and ride continuously until someone...

This is a wonderful log flume ride, be warned though there is no chance to just drop your stuff off as you are getting on the ride. If you dont put it in a locker or leave it with someone else it is coming along for the ride and You, Your Stuff and Whatever You Think you can keep hidden and dry is going to get WET! Another warning is this ride is a hop on and off while it is moving so if you cant move well then probably...
