Our Morning and first visit to Dollywood started by visiting the Grist Mill. It turned out to be a cinnamon lover's dream come true, thanks to their mouthwatering Cinnamon Bread. As early birds, we eagerly arrived before the doors opened, thrilled to be the first ones in line and get our hands on the very first batch fresh out of the oven. What awaited us was a warm, aromatic treat that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, the inviting aroma of cinnamon gently through the air, instantly igniting our taste buds. The rustic charm of the mill's interior added to the overall ambiance, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for indulging in this delectable delight. From my understanding and I could be completely wrong but the cinnamon bread originates here. You can get the cinnamon bread in the spotlight bakery but I think they make it here and then bring unbaked loaves down to spotlight. The line is always very long here so fair warning. Its most definitely worth the wait though. You can see them working as you wait. You should also expect to send one or two people in and the rest of your party can go sit in the rockers not too far up from the mill. The bread itself is served piping hot dripping cinnamon filling and comes with a frosting and and or apple butter our family loved them both. And asked for both often. It's usually about 10 or 11 per loaf passholders can usually get it for 9. You can also find at the resorts. Also a hint if you are not at the park you could get it at the donut friar from what I've been told but have not yet...

The Grist Mill at Dollywood is a must stop for our family. Fresh out of the oven all day long, getting a hot loaf of bread is almost guaranteed. Between the flavor and the warm, sweet center, there is no cinnamon bread like Dollywood cinnamon bread. The icing makes it even better. We have even taken the drive to Dollywood to get cinnamon bread at the Grist Mill -- like driving to the bakery for a treat.
