#1 favorite coaster at Dollywood (although I haven't ridden LRod). Very smooth (supposedly special for coasters from the manufacturer, although I've never ridden any other coaster from Arrow Dynamics), and very intense. The theming around the ride is spectacular, as you can see torn walls, scattered beams, and other nods to the idea that this coaster is the experience you'd have as if you were picked up by a twister. Most of the ride is also concealed by the trees, furthering thrill and mystery. The underground 100+ft drop is very intense and frightening. However, the ride is pretty short, and the restraints make it kinda hard to move your arms up on the side where the edge of the car is. Don't let that get you down however, because Tennessee Tornado is a must ride for any...
Read moreThis is a great ride! Easily one of the most intense coasters I've ever ridden. For an arrow coaster it runs decently smooth and the transitions aren't too bad. The first drop is epic! You get good airtime as you drop through the mountain. The loop is very tall and you go through it with a perfect speed. The next loop and sidewinder are so intense, I grayed out for sure. You hit the brakes going so fast it can be uncomfortable. There are no dead spots on this ride, it is relentless! The one complaint I have for this ride is that it's just too short. It could have had a few more elements. But overall it's an awesome...

The first time I rode this one it brought back memories of the now-defunct Orient Express roller coaster in Kansas City, only so much better than that awesome coaster was when it came out in the early 80's. The G-Forces on this ride are awesome. It's one of the fiercest roller coaster rides that I've been on. I've rode over 50 coasters in my lifetime and this is one of...
