I go to this gym for several years, and I loved it a lot, and I love most teachers and staff. Most members are very kind people as well. On August 29, 2024, I went Robin Katz yoga class, and while I have been in the twist, she came from behind and grubbed my hair and pulled painfully and violently without asking my permission to touch me. I was in shock and pain, and I told her that something went wrong after her unwanted adjustment, but she told me to do some stretch , and left me alone with it. I was not sure what to do, at night my neck became worse. I went to administrator of the gym next day, and verbally I was promised that all will be resolved for me. In reality, I was given only two 1 hour body massages that helped a little, and then, I was told by administrator that neither instructor nor gym did not do anything wrong. Since this incident had happened right before Labor day, it took 10 days to see my physical therapist, and I found out that Robin pulled my hair so hard that my first two vertebrae of my cervical spine were moved and locked in incorrect position, which caused me a lot of pain, dizziness, spasms of the face, jaw, neck, shoulders and upper back. I asked administrator for incident report and yoga instructor insurance to my for my medical expenses and massages, which I still have to do to function. I just want warn people if you get damaged in this gym, it will be your expense, and they will not be responsible for their actions. I am left with a lot of medical and massage bills that I have to pay for out of my pocket, which would be needed if this yoga instructor did not touch me. Also, I warn you to avoid going to Robin’s class. Other yoga teachers are very nice and gentle and always ask for your permission...
Read moreThis rating is specifically for one of the trainers / yoga instructors. I spoke with Tammie Z. after 3 weeks of debilitating back pain and having just had a bad experience with a chiropractor. She manipulated me and showed me stretches which within 10 minutes, I went from barely moving to feeling like I could go for a run again. Numerous times over the past year, she has patiently guided me either directly in passing between her clients or indirectly in her Sunday yoga classes. The difference in my moods when I attend her class vs when I skip it is noticeable not only to me, but the people I interact with also. She is truly an asset to LBHF and I encourage all members to try one of her yoga classes. My personal favorite has become the Saturday class that she recently started teaching – truly a phenomenal experience. Her weekend classes are ideal for ending one week and resetting yourself for the week ahead. Tammie alone makes the cost of...
