My initial experience with Radcliffe was positive, which you can see in my earlier review below. I maintain that the employees I first engaged with were very competent and well mannered. However, recent interactions have marred that impression.
I purchased a Tudor Black Bay Ceramic watch, which I found too heavy for my nerve-damaged wrists, resulting in minimal wear. This was my own oversight since it was an impulsive buy, not factoring in its size and weight. Later, I bought a Blancpain Leman from Radcliffe which I've adore and frequently wear.
Wanting to trade the seldom-worn Black Bay, I reached out to Radcliffe about the new Black Bay 54s. They promised to contact me when available, but never did. This lapse in communication was my first disappointment and it foreshadowed the events to come.
Later, I tried trading in the Black Bay Ceramic through their online form, which limits you to submitting only pictures and basic information about the watch. My photos, taken with a cellphone, didn’t do the watch justice given how dark the watch is. Radcliffe's subsequent offer of $2500 was extremely undervalued. Even when I provided context, the employee dismissed my concerns, stating the watch's highest used market value would be around $3500 despite there being multiple vendors selling this watch at a worse condition for well above that value.
Contrastingly, another vendor quoted $4400 based on better photos and description, starkly different from Radcliffe's assessment. It seems Radcliffe's commitment to customer service wanes when you transition from buying to selling. While I had plans to purchase more from them, this experience has made me reconsider.
Despite getting a better offer from a different vendor, I chose not to sell the watch just yet. I don't really need the money right now and the watch shouldn't lose anymore value any time soon especially given that I don't wear it. The experience with Radcliffe also very much soured me on selling this watch anytime soon.
Original Review: Very professional and kind. Came in to take a look at their Tudor watches and went to both locations. It's been a long time since I've been to a physical jeweler but the staff made me feel welcome despite this. Lovely selection and great watches, highly recommend.
Edit: I found that I had an allergic reaction to the metal in the watch I purchased. I brought it in for an exchange today and the same sales associate that sold me the watch, Hind Walker, took care of it without issue. She obviously has a passion for the products and is extremely knowledgeable. I have no doubt that the rest of the staff is also the same.
Overall, Dealing with Radcliffe has been nothing but positive. Whether you are buying a luxury product or something very simple, the staff makes the experience extremely pleasant and smooth. I will likely be dealing with them in the future for all of my watch...

My recent visit to Radcliffe Jewellers in Pikesville was nothing short of exceptional, truly exceeding all expectations. From the moment I stepped into the stunning, expansive showroom, I was instantly enveloped by unparalleled professionalism and warmth, primarily thanks to the extraordinary Liz Cremeans.
Liz is more than just a sales professional; she's a true horological guide – incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely welcoming, and exceptionally attentive. She expertly resized my Tudor Pelagos 39 perfectly on the first try, a testament to her meticulous precision. What truly set this experience apart was her profound passion for watches and her dedication to crafting a deeply personalized journey. Liz didn't just show me watches; she guided me through the vast collections, from the intricate Bvlgari Octo models to the iconic Panerai, where her profound, life-changing advice on wearing any watch with confidence completely transformed my perspective. Her insightful discussions on IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre (especially the Reverso, which I now know I must own), and the mesmerizing Grand Seiko dials, showcased her immense expertise and made every single moment feel educational, exciting, and profoundly personal.
I also commend Simone in the Rolex section, who provided an impressive tour of available timepieces, allowing me the thrill of trying my dream green bezel Submariner and ultimately guiding me to a beautiful Mint Green Datejust 36. The seamless coordination between Liz and Simone ensured a flawless acquisition.
This was far beyond a mere watch purchase; it was a magical, surreal, and deeply heartwarming experience. Liz’s genuine happiness for me acquiring my first Rolex, combined with her boundless patience through paperwork, made me realize she's the only person I'd ever want to buy a watch from. I had traveled from India to pick up my Tudor, and the sheer efficiency and personal touch in making the Rolex acquisition happen so swiftly, especially on such incredibly short notice, were nothing short of breathtaking.
Radcliffe Jewellers, especially with Liz, doesn't just sell watches; they create unforgettable memories and spark lifelong passions. I can't recommend them highly enough. And if you have the immense pleasure of working with Liz, be prepared for an...

It’s taken me a long time to write this review, and honestly, I feel it’s the least I could do. I hope you will read it and take to heart how different this store and the people that work here are.
I live in the DC area, 10 minutes from Tysons Corner. I used to shop at a popular jewelry store chain in Tysons but after a great remote watch purchase from Radcliffe online I decided to drive out and see them in person. That was several years ago. They always treated me well, far better than the DC area store, so I decided to shop there more often even though I live an hour away. The sales experience was just that much better.
Recently I have had some serious health issues arise, and much of my treatment takes place in Baltimore. Unfortunately, these days I am often in and out of the hospital. When I have extra time though I like to swing by their store and look around. Often, I have no intention of buying anything, and every single time they treat me as if I am a VIP. In fact, when I told them about my health issues, and I asked for some assistance in sourcing a few items and watches that were special to me, they did not just accommodate, they went above and beyond.
They have continually been amazing in so many ways I cannot begin to explain, and I cannot thank them enough for how kind they have been to me. I am just now coming off another unfortunate hospital stay, and I look forward to visiting their store again soon.
If you are looking to build a relationship with a great retailer that cares about their customers, this is your store. I would buy ALL my Rolexes and jewelry from them if I could, but they can only sell me what they have, and with Rolex allocation issues I still must source some watches elsewhere, which...
