I am writing to report a highly concerning experience I had at your restaurant. This was one of the most unhygienic and unsettling visits I’ve had at any Chipotle location. If this is the level of hygiene presented to customers, it’s troubling to imagine the conditions in chipotle‘s kitchen. I’ve visited this location before and have noticed cleanliness issues in the past, but this recent visit was by far the worst.
Here are some specific observations: • A long, braided synthetic hair extension was lying on the floor near the ordering counter — clearly visible to customers and staff. • The beverage station was in poor condition: the entire counter was wet and sticky, and the lid dispensers were contaminated with spilled liquids. • The condiment station was overflowing with trash and food residue. • There were very few utensils available, and the utensil area itself was littered with garbage. • I initially planned to dine in at the restaurant. However, nearly every table in the dining area was covered with leftover food and trash. When I approached the condiment station, it was in such an unsanitary state that I felt extremely uncomfortable. Due to the overall lack of cleanliness, I decided to leave the store without staying to eat.
I have taken photos of these conditions, as I believe they present a legitimate public health concern. Based on what I observed, I feel this location should be reviewed by the local health department. I share this feedback not to complain, but out of concern for the safety and well-being of your customers and the community.
Paying over $12 for a meal in such an environment is unacceptable, and I hope immediate corrective action will be taken to address...
Read moreI am very disappointed in the assistance, if you want to call it that. I attempted to order for my place of business online. It wasn't working at the time so I called in to the automated system which I've never had a problem with before. I was ordering for 9 people and when I got to the 8th order, the system didn't understand "light white rice". It switched me over to a person in the store. This was roughly about 11:30 on January 4th. The young lady who answered the phone explained to me that she didn't see the order. Obviously since the automated system switched me straight to her. I explained that I was at work and didn't have another 15 mins to sit on the phone and I asked if she could take my order. She proceeded to tell me that she couldn't take a phone order and that I had to call the automated system again.....the same one that just kicked me to her. I then asked for a supervisor and she says that she was the supervisor. I suggest that these employees at this location learn how to handle a technical breakdown for future reference. How to handle situations when technology breaks down should be a thing and it isn't. Read morePlaced a delivery order with grubhub. The order kept getting pushed back saying it wasn't ready yet. They pushed it back so far that the restaurant was closed. They wouldn't pick up the phone when I attempted to call multiple times before they closed to find out why, after 2 1/2 hours, that my food wasn't ready. The 1st grubhub driver cancelled picking up the order it was taking so long and kept getting pushed back. This isn't the only Chipotle restaurant to do this. Apparently patrons that place orders for delivery go to the bottom of the list so much that hours later they still can't get it made. I had to call customer service with grubhub to cancel the order since there's no option on their website to cancel the order when the restaurant can't get their act together. Well I won't be going to any Chipotle restaurants again, or using grubhub. Because the driver didn't pick up his phone when I attempted to call several times to find out why he left the restaurant and went half way across town. He could have at least answered the phone and told me that Chipotle didn't bother to make our order. I won't be using Grubhub or eating Chipotle again.
