When this place 1st opened it was called Wise Guys. We have dined in and ordered to go. The food was pretty good. The pizza đ was pretty decent at first.
After about 8-10 visits ordering their pizza it became a "hit or miss" experience. đ
This last trip was it for me. I called and ordered a large pepperoni, extra sauce and extra cheese pizza. Hubby went to pick it up and didn't bother to look inside before bringing it home. The "extra" sauce on the pizza looked like they dumped 1/2 a can of sauce! It was SWIMMING in sauce and not edible. This was not the 1st time I've ordered extra sauce, it's a standard for me.
I called to speak with a manager. I spoke with Percy. I told him before I leave my review, I wanted to give them a chance to make it right. He was very accommodating. He told me to call back when I was ready to get another one. Tonight was when I decided to take him up on it.
The lady who answered the phone said he was not there, but she took my order and I repeated the order but asked for extra sauce but not to drown the pizza this time please.
Hubs brings the pizza home, ( he did check to make sure it wasn't swimming this time) but he didn't really notice that this time it was barley ANY sauce at all! I don't like a "dry" pizza! They were able to get it right maybe 3 out of 5 times. I feel like because this was a do-over, they could have cared less what they served us. (See pics) We are very disappointed in the service. When you are paying for a service, I believe you should be able to get what you ask for. In this case it was just a lil extra sauce on a pizza. I didn't think it was too much to ask. It's not cool having to hold your breath after ordering, hoping that it's going to be what you want. Consistency would be really GREAT!
So having said all of that, we will not be ordering from this...

Update. When I first came here I Loved it and even had spread the word. The past few times I noticed the workers were very rude towards me like they are annoyed or something. I guess they finally got their high paying patronage and donât know how to talk to people. Highly disappointed⌠wonât be coming back and if there is a corporate owner I will be reaching out. This is ridiculous.
Update: again! I have not been back to the store since my bad experience over a year ago. This time I was really craving sliced pizza so I decided to give it a try. When I entered the store, I also entered with another white patron however I was first entered to the door, but the service worker he was at first only trying to acknowledge the white woman, and then he realize that I was there before when he was taking my order I noticed that he didnât take it with the same Amount of customer service and enthusiasm as he did with her also, when he gave me my box, all he did was put it on the glass thing and say my name with the slight passive aggressiveness, but when the white woman got her order, he was smiling and telling her thank you have a great day and everything like that, but he didnât do the same thing with me little did he know that white woman noticed as well this is pure disgusting behavior. I will not be bad. I am extremely disappointed and this establishment, extremely disappointed, I also want to add that I am not a ghetto African-American person. I am well educated and I speak well. I am very disappointed. Very very...
Read moreThe atmosphere in this old school Pizzeria style restaurant is very nostalgic of "Old New York"; pictures of Robert Dinero and cast of The Goodfellas, Marlon Brando in The Godfather, etc. Most people who were getting carry out stood to wait in front of the counter. My family and I took a seat in one of the booths to wait. This allowed us to relax and enjoy the pictures on the walls and reminisce about our childhood trips to New York and remember our own experiences in a New York Pizzerias. This place is crowded and very busy on a Friday evening. However, after waiting about 25 - 30 minutes for our order, I have to say that it was worth the wait. The ambiance took our minds off of waiting and I have to admit that we've planned to come back. We may call ahead to order but the old school Pizzeria (actually called The Wise Guys - not "The Good Guys" as Google lists it) will be one of our new choices on...
