ALDI — Local services in Pine City

I've never been to an Aldi before and had high expectations of one being in Pine City. Yes, there were items that were cheaper than the big Walmart. But I was rather disappointed in their lack of selection in the meat department. It's like half of a store. Even our other grocery store we had read all was much better for their selection. It's like everything had a small amount of product. As the quote says," You've been weighed and measured, and have been found lacking !!! You need more and maybe your downfall of another store in Pine City. Now, I've been there a few times. I tried their pork chops and chicken am on the grill. I seasoned them like I normally would have. They turned out very delicious and I went back a few more times and have bought them. I wish they had more grocery items and a little more in the meat department. I tried some of the brownies and the Caesar salad. They were fantastic. Been waiting for them to open for months. Great prices, healthy food choices. Made my first stop today. And I love the self check out

Update September 2025 yep, still love Aldi better prices than Walmart just bought a bottle of five dollar pure 100% maple syrup much better than the $17 bottle I bought from Northern Minnesota two weeks ago. Finding some good healthy products at Aldi. They have the whole wheat, macaroni and long spaghetti, a definite, plus. Prices are awesome

Their new location in Pine City is a fantastic location. They're well stocked. The store & bathroom is extremely clean. If u have a walker or a wheelchair, u'll definitely b able to get around with ease including the bathroom. Only 3 things I didn't like:

1. The Bathroom is universal

2. No handicap door & bathroom

3. It was extremely cold in the whole place even when u're away from the cold/frozen food.
