I am beyond ANGRY with Bassett Furniture. I placed a custom order for a 5 piece Beckham sectional in January that was around $7600 and it was delivered on 3/11/25. Guess what??? 4 pieces of the sectional was in the right cream color and 1 piece was a blue linen type fabric. HOW DO YOU MESS UP an order this bad. Surely, they had the other piece of my sectional somewhere, right? Nope, this is how the order was built. Reached out to my sales consultant, Susan, who said Hayley would be reaching out to me. Nope! I HAD to call twice to figure out what was going on with my order that was placed back in January! Do you think she had the decency to call and give an update, NOPE! When I called she said they would 'expedite' the order of the corner piece of my sectional. You think they offered any type of discount?? Nope! I had to ask! They credited me $300 and then emailed me!!!!!!!!!!! All I can do is laugh! In the email, Hayley said they would call me Monday for an update. I reached out to my Arhaus SA as I have been updating my furniture to get her opinion on the issue. NOT only did she laugh, but she said this is definitely a quality issue and She even laughed harder at the $300. She said immediately I should have been given at a minimum 10% off as this was THEIR FAULT'. Let's not talk about how this has inconvenienced my life. THE absolute WORST EXPERIENCE. Oh and you think the manger of the store reached out? NOPE! This is not my first Bassett sectional and I will not say anything bad about the quality as I love their sectionals. However, I'm stunned at the poor customer service when IT WAS THEIR FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst experience...

I purchased bed frame and dining set from Pineville, NC store, spent nearly 10 grand it took almost two months to deliver. When I received the delivery, we find out that bed frame color was what we seen inside the showroom so I called customer service and texted to sales person about the situation I have. Same time I asked the delivery person not to set up the bed frame I might have to return it because of the color, but delivery person ignored and keep assembling the frame and left. Long story short come back and forth with text massage with sales person and talk to manager and couldn’t get resolved so went to the store and talk to sales person and she said she will send a email to head of manager I believe her name is Haley and I just got a phone call from her an soon after say hello she started to talking to defend her but not listening to what customers said every time I tried to explain my situation but she said same thing over and over again. Finally I gave up because she is not listening and trying to understand instead. Way she talks are very rude and full of ignorance. It was very bad experience with them. I had a plan to go back and purchase sone other products because of sales person’s (Carrie) superb attitude and customer care, but I won’t go back just because there management team’s attitude and delivery personnel’s attitude. It was very bad experience. I spent my money and they makes feel like I am just idiotic person just making a complain. My wife and I made our first purchase ever at Bassett and had a wonderful experience. We worked with Vincent Kinsler and he was an absolute pleasure. We had a few ideas, but not a clear plan of what we wanted in our library / sitting room. With very little information provided, Vincent was able to put together the perfect plan. He listened carefully, analyzed room dimensions, reviewed pictures of the space, got to know us, understood our sense of style, and took it from there. From the initial consultation, his attention to detail, creativity, and thoughtfulness truly impressed us and the final presentation exceeded all of our expectations. Every element was carefully considered and beautifully executed (we didn't change a thing). The end result was absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier. We can't imagine anyone else helping us and we highly recommend Vincent to anyone seeking top-notch design expertise. We look forward to working with him again...
