very disappointed with kay jewelers ive bought alot of jewelry from here but after today i will never return to buy a single item ive bought things from necklaces rings pendents to a nice bridal set even had an open account with a good line of credit and yes zero balance thats right zero balance when i went there today to buy a necklace for mothers day for $500 the lady behind the counter was super nice super friendly and super helpful at check out i decided i was going to pay cash but the lady had told me if you put it on your ks card you can get zero percent interest for 6 months i thought well thats nice why not we run my card and it declines i told her it should work i know i have a line of credit atleast 3000 and she says yes i see that you actually have more i dont understand why its declining i said i just bought a bridal set last year and it worked just fine so she called the number on the card and they asked to speak with me because they couldnt disclose anything with her witch i didnt understand she works there so i get on the phone and the lady tells me my account is open but since i havent made a recent purchase she needs to run my credit i said why i made bigger purchase with in the last year and paid it all off you send me things in the mail to try to get me to buy with my kay jewelers card now i come in and you decline it and want me to take a hard hit on my credit i think not i could understand my card being inactive if its been years 5 years forure but just alittle over a year wow so i did buy the necklace because it was good quality and honestly mostly because the lady was super professional and helpful but i will not be returning to buy another single item there are plenty of other stores with good quality i will miss the people at the piqua location as they are great at customer service sincerely a very...

STAY AWAY !!! They do NOT stand behind there products at all. Bought my wife a ring she wore it 4-5 times and the diamond fell out we have been dealing with this for months promising phone calls back to us and speaking to multiple people. The verdict was we could send it in to get a free estimate to repair and replace the diamond before this we were told the new diamond would be free but the repair would be about $500 that is more then the ring why would we do that ? they NEVER offered us any other solution not a trade in a discount for an upgrade NOTHING! So I said then just get me the free diamond and I will take elsewhere for them to repair the ring cause $500 is ridiculous They said they can't do that unless it gets repaired by them Lol What a bunch of scam artists. I hope this store closes down they have idea how to take care of customers and the product they sell are probably 2nds I mean why would a diamond fall out only being worn 4-5 times with no damage to the ring after kays looked at it and made that statement of it not being damaged. First, their diamonds are LOW QUALITY with visible cracks/marks. Second, the soldering of my engagement ring to my wedding bands was a nightmare I had to take it back at least 3 times to be soldered correctly and not look like a 12 yr old in his garage did it.. not to mention I went weeks without my ring since it had to be fixed so many times. I've never seen a ring soldered like this before and can't believe they would even give my ring back to me looking like this. Big ugly bars connecting the rings, gaps and not lined up correctly... Third, we paid for the warranty which means we have to go in every 6months for an inspection to keep the warranty up... so we do and also to get our rings cleans and polished while we are there but half the time I've gone in the ONE person who can polish them if they aren't there you don't get them cleaned/polished correctly and it's not even worth wasting my time going in. They're supposed to clean/polish and inspect them, and they literally glance at it and dip it in a solution for 2 seconds and give it back to you. I literally hate this place and dread going in, but I'd like to have clean and polished jewelry since I paid for it. Overall, it has been a headache, and I wish we never bought our rings here.
