Waffle House — Restaurant in Piqua

This has been THE MOST wholesome atmosphere compared to anywhere else I have visited. It was all made possible by our waitress, Teresa, who has been with waffle house for 42 years (that's amazing!!).

She welcomed us in with a smile even though we came in at 3am. She even went out of her way to notice me putting on my jacket because it was cold and helped direct us to a booth that was away from air contioning.

If you're ever looking for such a sweet and kind experience, Teresa can deliver that and more. Me and my partner plan to make it an occasional tradition to come to this exact waffle house every-so-often after working out.

Teresa, if you read this; I hope that one day you'll be able to run your own little diner, and get to have so many fun conversations with many different people. You deserve nothing but the best...

I sat down in the booth after arriving, and was quickly alarmed by the unpleasant sensation of a mystery liquid which was puddled in the booth seat saturating my shorts. After the server dried the booth with a stained towel, i noticed a family of cute little flies had decided to take shelter from the autumn air inside the waffle house window seal. Then we got our food. My over easy eggs were apparently mistaken for medium-raw eggs as I seen a goopy stream of egg white snot sludge its way off of my fork and splatter back on to my plate. My 2 kiddos and I had the best experience ever at this Waffle House. It’s by far the cleanest one I’ve ever been in. Every single staff member was friendly and welcoming, and the food was great. The manager Tom came in and started playing old music on the jukebox, and you could tell the flow of the work environment was happy and relaxed, not frantic and stressed like most restaurants. It takes a lot for me to take the time to write a review out but I was so impressed with this place!
