have lived here for 10 years because I can't afford to move after they took hundreds of dollars from me knowing I am disabled and have limited income. They just raised our rent by 200 dollars after we have been trying to negotiate a lower amount after everything that has happened to us here and the proof I have sent in emails. Our lease was conveniently lost and so I can't get my SSI raised without the lease for proof to show SSI and they are raising our rent 200 dollars knowing this. I was harassed, threatened and my dog was poisoned from a leak coming from the fridge for over 3 weeks. It was an ammonia smell and my dog had to be put to sleep because of the leak and gas coming out for over 3 weeks which I have documented proof of and emails where I keep asking them to remove it. I had to call poison control who told us to vacate immediately or have it removed immediately and I showed the manager the screenshot of me calling poison control and all the calls and emails to the manager asking to get the fridge out of our apartment and the ammonia smell that was leaking. They knew an ammonia smell was coming from the fridge when maintenance came and tried saying it was from dog pee which dog pee doesn't smell like ammonia and we steam clean our carpet because we do have pets. They don't pee on the floors, they are trained to go to the door or pee pads. The dog was my mom's dog I had because my mom died. The dog was my therapy animal. I had to have her put to sleep because she couldn't even walk and kept gasping. They poisoned my dog and killed her and take absolutely no responsibility for it. The apartment was not safe after that and maintenance would never come fix anything the 9 years we were in that unit. My maintenance requests would just be deleted off the portal and the manager at the time told me there wasn't enough maintenance and they had to assist more serious issues like leaks (but not when we had one with the fridge). We had to pay out of pocket to replace stuff and we were told they don't reimburse here. This all happened since I got here 10 years ago and from the past 2 managers that were here. They obviously don't background check their employees because of the money they were stealing off the tenants and I am one of them. They won't even negotiate the 200 dollar rent increase at the very least after everything we have been put through. I have extreme PTSD after having my dog killed. I hope no one ever has to go through that here. The previous manager left me with hundreds of dollars due to PG&E because she lied about coming to fix our AC unit (already sent emails of proof of this to corporate). Our AC was out last summer during the heat wave and I had to run it as high as I could and maintenance had to come spray freeon a few times just to get it a little cool because I overheat due to my disability. Having to run it higher the bill was like 500 each month for 3 months and PG&E told me they would wipe it off my account of the manager wrote a statement about what happened. The manager refused to write one because she would have to tell the truth and had the nerve to tell me it's illegal to provide a statement to PG&E (I sent corporate and the manager that's here now the email of her saying this to me and leaving me with this huge bill). I can't be late now on any of my PG&E bills or it goes to collections because she can't tell the truth. I have no money for groceries now since my rent is going up 200 dollars and I can't be late or pay my PG&E with a payment plan because the manager screwed me on that. I also lost 30 pounds in a little over a month and kept getting eye infections from when we had the leak in the apartment. I now have a scar on my cornea for life that affects a small portion of my vision in my left eye. It's a gray smudge on my cornea. My husband kept getting bronchitis from the leak and had to miss many days of work. New manager the only issue is not doing the negotiation for us.    Read moreOn July 14, 2023, I called and spoke to Ana regarding an application denial. She informed me to reapply again because there would be a downstairs unit available soon, which was apartment 209. I was approved for apartment 209, went to the office to talk about next steps after failed called attempts. I met with Ana and received a welcome letter for apartment 209 with a move in date of August 8, 2023. I noticed on the website tenant portal that there was a lease agreement to sign, but for the incorrect apartment number 174. This change took effect without my knowledge, plus it's upstairs when I clearly stated I wanted a downstairs unit. There was no phone call nor email asking if I would accept another unit. I called and spoke to Antonia regarding the change and was informed the tenants did not move out of 209, so a change had been made again without my consent. While speaking with Antonio in the office, Ana was there in her office, and not once did she come out to speak on this issue. I was informed that 209 was not a downstairs unit, and they switched me to 174, but 209 is, in fact downstairs, not sure why they would not know. Because of the sudden change, I asked for a refund but was informed that wasn't possible. I called on July 26 and spoke to Antionio about the issue again, and she transferred me to Ana. After speaking with Ana regarding my concern, she contacted maintenance to see if there were any available downstairs units available, but to no avail. She stated that apartment 207, which is downstairs across from 209, the original apartment applied for would be available. She asked someone to call the tenant to see if they were moving out on August 1st because the tenant stated they were moving out several times prior. Today is August 2nd, and I haven't heard anything regarding the change. She stated she would get the new paperwork ready; I assume the new lease. Also, I was informed that the move in date was changed from the original date to August 1, 2023, but here it is August 2nd and there hasn't been any changes, no phone call, no email, or updates. I am asking for a full refund of my holding deposit and credit check because I have not been granted what I applied for. Bait and switch, breach of contract. They have changed the apartment 3 times. I received a call from Antonia with another apartment to move into , and because of my 30-dayotice expiring I had to pay rent. So there is no way I'm paying rent at 2 places. Ana told Antonia to tell me that I forfeited the holding deposit because I didn't accept there offer after having me apply for an apartment that wasn't available and switching me to one that was not only upstairs but had all kind of eviction notices on the door. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Update 1. Added in response: the following response below is untrue. This change was done without consent. There were only 2 offers. The first one was changed without knowledge. The second one not sure if the tenant moved out, and the third was after my daughter had to pay rent where she resides currently. There was never a denial nor cancel from my daughter. This is fabrication. Thank you for refunding the deposit because she never cancelled. She was willing to move into the complex, but it did not happen due to changes that was not her fault, the reason why Ana emailed to talk and come to a resolution and apologize. This fabrication is a defamation character. Update 2. August 7th. Ana emailed & want to find a resolution because she didn't want to leave a bad taste in my mouth. She gave me the option to move into another vacant apartment or to receive a refund. I emailed August 20th, August 26th, and August 30th to ask if the refund has been sent out, and she said yes. I have yet to receive my refund, 25 days had passed, and there is no refund. Went to small claims. Judgement has been granted. PLEASE SEND PROOF. I'm not sure why the dishonesty continues.    Read moreOk where should I begin,what I sign up for didn't happen back in September, dealing with the co manager Cindy ,are should I say the notorious Cindy she was running a crazy operation she gets paid to get your money,she would lie to you with a straight face she ran two managers out of Diamond Hillside ,in a very short time I don't think they unpacked Finally Christine come in went through what another couple of managers till she finally got it right ,young lady she bought in now I would say her name is Myeasha Jones is doing a outstanding job something happens she's on top it right away you're unhappy she's going to make you happy ,she's going to do everything in power to get it right you got a lot of people in there used to that old way doing what you want , don't care this young lady is cleaning this building up I seen a mass improvement now I'm very happy and comfortable but for quite a few months before this young lady come in there I was ready to go call the city did break this lease to get the hell out of there but I tell you what now like I say I take my hat off to Christina I thank her for bringing this young lady here in because she's Attackes the problems and finds solutions she's on top of it so that's what I admire and she's making these folks live the way they supposed to be living yeah we had a bad trash problem and all that but due to her staff that she hired in there they're on top of it they are clean it up so they don't hesitate they don't lie to are makeupn excused straight to your face you know so that's why I'm happy about her and the apartment she said she going to do she do it so this place here did A 360° turn and going forward I see it's getting better and better every day so therefore all you have to do with her is communicate and guess what you see results so it's some people that don't want to cooperate do what ever , human beings I guess it'll be a matter of time where they'll see that front door on the street finding somewhere else to go so Christine I like to thank you for hiring Myeasha Jones because I see a big improvement so and going forward I'm comfortable now but I wasn't in the beginning that young lady Cindy the co manager there wow she took me to so much hell so that's why this place is getting the five star from me Because I See massive improvement and going forward yeah sky's the limit so now I would recommend anyone and everyone come on in this is a home now you will feel comfortable thank you my Myeasha⡠Jones you're doing a great job outstanding keep up the good work and especially your crew that you have inside a young ladies inside they're doing an excellent job and they won't hesitate you come in with a problem they're going to go the whole nine yards 110 to help you figure the problem out so you got a Outstanding young Ladies working with you Miss Jones so don't let them leave Team work, they're doing an outstanding job along with you so hey five stars for you young ladies keep up...
