I have never dealt with such rude and incompetent people in my life!! We had a gas leak from our oven. We called the gas company and they came and disconnected the gas from the oven and said there was an issue in the back of the over near where it connects to the gas line. SOOOO, I called Appliance Warehouse to come out and look at it and get it fixed. A young man with absolutely ZERO social skills showed up after 1 week and said the leak was coming from behind one of the knobs. I explained that the seemingly very knowledgeable guy from the gas company said it was coming from the back. I was ignored and told he needed to order a part. He came a week later and I was told that he needed to order more parts. Meanwhile, our stove was in the middle of the kitchen floor all torn apart. Several weeks go by and I hear nothing. I call and am told that he is on vacation but the part would be in the last weekend of August. I waited a few days for someone to contact me and when that didn't happen, I called them. A very rude lady answered the phone, already sounding annoyed and stated "I am not in front of a computer" very rudely. I said "well, would you get in front of one" when she then sent me to a voice mail box where I left my whole story, name and number. I waited another week and called again and explained my whole story when another very rude lady says very angrily "what part did you order?" I explained I did not order a part but a young gentlemen had and he said he would be back a week later with the parts he needed and now it's been over a month. Again, sent to a voicemail. Called back a few days later and a seemingly nice lady answered this time and said she couldn't find my name in their system yet somehow seemed to know that the woman in charge of my account was on vacation for the day. lol. She said she would meet with the lady and the repair man the very next day first thing and would call me in the morning. It is now September 25th and still no word. I finally decided to just buy a new stove, but certainly NOT FROM APPLIANCE WAREHOUSE. I would not recommend these rude and uneducated repair people to my WORST enemy. I am not sure why they have such an attitude and why they can't fix appliances or at the VERY least return phone calls, especially after they tore apart a stove and left it in the middle of someone's kitchen!! I consider myself a nice guy who is easy to get along with. I have never written a bad Yelp review in my life. I have worked with the public most of my life so I understand that sometimes you can become frustrated, but you never take that out on the client. And I was very kind to them every time I called. Well, maybe not when I asked the lady if she could get in front of a computer. haha. So, long story short (too late), DO NOT USE. DO. NOT. USE. DO! NOT!...
Read moreAmazing Customer Service from start to finish!!! I needed a new fridge for my kitchen and wanted to look into scratch/dent options. Came in on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised by the not only S/D options but new and used as well. My mistake number one was telling hubby to get measurements before we left(he forgot,.. twice), so this part was left to a teenager over the phone. Also forgot to bring a measuring tape as not all of the appliances are clearly listed with size. Marvelous Missy had one in tow for us to borrow!! We finalized on a fridge with delivery on a Tuesday (3 days). Got home only to realize what we had purchased wont fit. Called Missy to initially cancel the order, but she let us know she could look online and special order something that will work. Gave her the measurements we truly needed, and she got to work. Called with an option within about 15 minutes. Some back and forth with options and pricing as we were also looking at Lowes/Home Depot by this point. Finalized on fridge at 6pm on a Saturday (aka closing time). Missy was able to order our fridge and keep the initial delivery day of Tuesday! Monday i received a call with a 4 hour window for delivery next day. Delivery day Tuesday, Dave calls about 5 minutes prior to arrival. I live close by so was home in 15 minutes. By the time i got home, they already had it unloaded, inside my house, and already working on pulling out the old fridge. Dave and co-worker hooked up water lines and removed all tape and packaging, installed handles ect. They went to push into place and I am 1/4" short, it still wont fit. Our mistake, ugh. We didn't account for the baseboard and a light switch we almost never use on one side of the fridge. Dave let me know options to get this to fit (some minor construction work with cutting a countertop on the opposite side) which we are more than capable of (i hope), stay tuned. Missy was awesome! She went out of her way to find us something we would be happy with and in our price range! Probably had to stay late on a Saturday to do it too!! Sorry!! Dave and delivery we easy peazy! Super nice and understanding of the situation we put ourselves in! I will definitely recommend to friends and family and be back for...
Read moreI purchased a portable washing machine from their reseller, my favorite place Construction Junction. Shortly thereafter, I discovered that the machine was leaking from two different areas. To further complicate matters, there were flying bugs inside the machine that spread throughout my home. I promptly reached out to the store and was directed to Appliance Warehouse for resolution.
I returned the washing machine to their address at my own expense. General Manager Karen assured me she would look into the matter and follow up. However, the follow-up was not timely. After several days and multiple visits, the interactions remained impersonal and lacked the customary courtesies one would expect.
With each visit, I was given different reasons for the delay. On one such visit, Karen finally instructed her workers to inspect the machine and once again promised to call me back. Due to a loss of trust, I asked for a refund or another resolution, as I had decided to purchase a washing machine from a different, trusted source.
Karen eventually called me back, claiming the appliance was in perfect condition. She did not agree to any satisfactory solution, suggesting instead that I sell the machine on the Marketplace if dissatisfied—a suggestion I find neither reasonable nor respectful.
As of today, almost three months later, I have received nothing but Karen's unwillingness to resolve the issue. All I seek is a refund for the returned appliance, which Karen claims is...
