Looking for the perfect gifts for the little ones in your life? Skip the big box stores and visit this charming local gem instead! We stopped by this weekend after a lackluster trip to Target and were blown away by the unique and inspiring selection of children's toys. From paper doll clothing kits and puppets to wooden toy sets and "how to draw" books, this store is a treasure trove of gifts designed to spark creativity and encourage imaginative play. As someone who values toys that go beyond "one-and-done" entertainment, I was shocked to find so many options that inspire free play and won’t end up forgotten in a closet after a week or two. Plus, their prices are incredibly competitive, with options to suit any budget. This holiday season, support a small business that truly cares about offering thoughtful, high-quality toys. You won’t regret it—and the kids will thank you!

Cute toy shop in Lawrenceville. They appear to focus on offering quailty toys that are built for a lifetime. Many toys are wooden and would appeal to those looking for Montessori inspired gifts. There is a wide selection of toys but most are for kids in the younger age range (0-6 years). The shop owner was very friendly. If you are looking for a gift for a child definitely stop in and see what they have to offer.

Today I bought Florentine stationery and a lovely pen. They carry Rhodia notebooks and lots of cool art supplies, not limited to children’s items.

This is my go to store for all gifts for children of all ages. No batteries or electronics here - plenty of well-crafted, heirloom quality toys, books, games, creative kits and much more. Well-organized but packed with treasures in every price point, this little gem of a store boasts an extra knowledgeable proprietor, chock-full of age and interest specific recommendations for all the littles in your life! Conveniently located on Lawrenceville's Butler Street, right across from Allegheny Cemetery. Free street parking as well.

I was Christmas shopping for a 9 year old and an 8 week old. My haul included books, a wind up music box, a gorgeous handmade taggie blanket, a build your own robotic arm kit, and a few other smaller items.

I've been shopping here for nine years - and every gift I've purchased has been received with delight. The 8 week old will soon be enjoying some items I bought for her 9 year old brother when...

The shop owner is mean. She directly say “go away! You are sick!” to my 3y old son just because he is coughing. If you cannot have a nicer way when speaking to kids, don”t open a toy shop near children’s hospital. Also thanks for the owner’s assumption that we don’t take care of the child and coughing equals to sick. Next time we will just bring a very recent doctor’s prescription and diagnosis for seasonal allergies and inherited asthma to prove that we are eligible to enter this shop. We asked contactless payment method but the only response was “go away”. We entered to make our feel son happier and better from his allergies but only left with him being...
