I’ve been here a couple times now. Was very excited to have a new wine bar in town. The staff are very nice and will help you find something you like. They have a pretty good selection of apéritivos and after dinner drinks. Haven’t had the food, so I can’t comment on that. However, this is a wine bar, so the wine is what matters. They’re selling $15 dollar bottles for $15 a glass and $50 dollars for the bottle. It just feels like overkill. I get you need to make a profit, but none of the wines, in my opinion have been impressive. They’re all pretty boring and avg. wines. Even been served a stale wine once or twice. I lived in New Orleans for over 20 years, so I know Bacchanal very well and I cannot wait to see just how amazing Solera's outdoor space transforms this season and through the years. Great staff, super vibe with location being absolutely sublime. I read the one or two low rated reviews and want to say, if you feel slighted or somehow put out by the team here, that's on you.
