Southside Jewelers – Hidden Gem with an Honest Owner

I can’t say enough good things about Southside Jewelers. I stopped in to get my chain fixed, and Rich—the owner—had it done in literally 30 seconds. Not only was he fast, but he only charged me for the replacement part. No extra fees, no nonsense. Just a stand-up guy doing honest work.

What really caught me off guard though was the rest of the store. I expected just jewelry, but Rich had a ton of other quality items—brand new, unopened, and all priced well below retail. We’re talking electronics, collectibles, and all kinds of cool stuff you wouldn’t expect to find there.

If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. Whether you’re looking for jewelry, gifts, or just browsing, I can almost guarantee you’ll find something you’d love to take home....

I was looking for some Ryobi tools/items on Craigslist…. Happened to see the item I was looking for on a listing. Called the store & spoke with Rich (owner), he was very friendly & courteous. He told me he would hold the item for a number of days. When I was able to make it to the store, he welcomed me & gave me a good price on the items. I probably spend about an hour there. When I left, I felt like I had met a new friend! We talked about a number of things, interests, tools, ebikes, etc. The thing that impressed me the most, was that he was sick that day & found out the only reason he came in to work that day was for me!
