Hey there, Karen Kbuddi!
First off, let me say, if you truly had a bad experience with us, I’m sorry about that. We want everyone who walks through our doors to leave with a smile on their face and a good story to tell. That’s what we’re all about. Now, I noticed you’ve left quite a few 1-star reviews across various businesses so I’m starting to think maybe it’s not just us you’re feeling let down by. We have 233 reviews and 99% of the are 4 & 5 stars and we are very proud of that.
What really stings, though, is the claim that we’re not friendly toward minorities. I’ve gotta stop you right there, because that couldn’t be further from the truth. The heart of our business is made up of people from all walks of life, and we don’t see skin color—we see people, and that’s what matters most to us.
At the end of the day, I hope you find a bit more joy and light in life, because spending your time trying to bring others down won’t lift you up. We wish you all the best and hope maybe one day you’ll look back on this and see things in a more positive light. Life’s too short to stay stuck in the mud. Feel free to come on in and introduce yourself, have a candy bar on us Karen Kbuddi because something tells me you could use one to help make your life a little sweeter! Take care now!
I apologize, I just don’t have the time to sort out and figure out how to respond from our business but as Dick’s daughter I did want you to feel seen Karen Kbuddi!...
Read moreHey Cindy Stahl, I can’t figure out how to reply to your review but as an employee of S&S, I would like to clarify something with your review. I’m very sorry you had this experience at a cigar shop however, there is no way you had it at our store because our store is not open to the public therefore you can not set foot inside our store currently or walk in to our humidor. We are open through a walk up window only and hopefully we will have our store open fully in the coming weeks. If you would like to purchase cigars, we would be happy for your business! :) We are on the corner of 21st and Carson in the south...
Read moreNOT FRIENDLY AT ALL towards minorities. We were never greeted or acknowledged by the man pictured behind the counter. However a caucasian man walked in and was instantly greeted plus a conversation. I asked about cigar brands and received an attitude response from a blonde woman behind the counter. I planned to buy a BUNCH of vintage candy (2nd photo) to travel home with.
The store could use some cleaning such as the floor and glass counters.
Old small business or not... TREAT PEOPLE WITH DECENCY. If you're a minority I wouldn't go here for the...
